Product Information
The Nerf Step, Bronco 4-Door is a product designed to enhance the accessibility and appearance of the Bronco 4-Door vehicle. It consists of various components that include:
- Nerf Step (2 pieces)
- Bracket, Front (2 pieces)
- Bracket, Middle and Rear (4 pieces)
- M8 – 1.25 x 25mm Carriage Bolt (12 pieces)
- M8 – 1.25 Serrated Flange Nut (12 pieces)
- M10 – 1.25 x 25mm Serrated Flange Bolt (12 pieces)

Product Usage Instructions
- Start by attaching the brackets to the Bronco rocker panel. The front bracket (2) has a different shape than the middle and rear brackets.
- Attach the front bracket by threading the provided serrated flange bolts (6) into the threaded holes of the Bronco rocker panel. Do not fully tighten at this time.
- Mount the middle and rear brackets to the rocker panel.
- Attach the brackets (3) by threading the provided serrated flange bolts (6) into the threaded holes of the Bronco rocker panel. Do not fully tighten at this time.
- Attach the Nerf step (1) to the mounted brackets.
- It is recommended to have an assistant to help lift the step into place.
- The tabs on the step should be mounted in front of the bracket tabs.
- Use the provided carriage bolts (4) to insert and lock into the stepped tab and through the bracket tab.
- Secure the bolts with the serrated flange nuts (5). Hand-tighten this hardware at this time.
- Suggest attaching the step to the middle bracket first to help support the weight of the step.
- Make any adjustments if necessary, then fully tighten the brackets to the body.
- Avoid using power or air tools. Tighten to 20ft lbs torque to secure the bracket to the Bronco.
- Tighten the hardware attaching the step to the brackets.
- Avoid using power or air tools. Tighten to 20ft lbs torque to secure the step to the bracket.
- Repeat the same procedure for the other side of the vehicle.

Nerf Step, Bronco 4-Door
- Start by attaching the brackets to the Bronco rocker panel.
- The furthest front bracket (2) is a different shape than the middle or rear brackets. Attach the front bracket by threading the provided serrated flange bolts (6) to the threaded holes of the Bronco rocker panel. Do Not fully tighten at this time.
- Mount the Middle and Rear brackets to the rocker panel.
- Attach the brackets (3) by threading the provided serrated flange bolts (6) to the threaded holes of the Bronco rocker panel. Do Not fully tighten at this time.
- Attach the Nerf step (1) to the mounted brackets.
- It’s best to have an assistant to help lift the step into place. The tabs on the step mount in front of the bracket tabs. Use the provided carriage bolts (4) to insert and lock into the step tab and through the bracket tab. Then secure with the serrated flange nuts (5). Handtighten this hardware at this time. We suggest attaching the step to the middle bracket first to help support the weight of the step.
- Make any adjustments at this time, then fully tighten the brackets to the body.
- Avoid using power or air tools. Tighten to 20ft lbs torque to secure the bracket to the Bronco.
- Tighten the hardware attaching the step to the brackets.
- Avoid using power or air tools. Tighten to 20ft lbs torque to secure the step to the bracket. Repeat the same procedure on the other side.
