BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Turn the control rotary knob to “OFF”, replace the battery and re-programme the timer. Only use new 9 V Alkaline 6LR61 batteries, with an expiry date exceeding one year and that have never been used. Replace the battery at the beginning of each season. When the battery is completely flat, the water timer automatically stops its functions and closes the valve. Never replace the battery during irrigation, otherwise the water will continue to flow at the end of the cycle
INSTALLATION
Do not install the water timer inside valve boxes, below ground level or indoors. Do not use the water timer with operating pressures lower than 0.5 bar (7.3 psi) or higher than 10 bar (145 psi).
MAINTENANCE
WARNING RECOMMANDATIONS
Read this instruction manual carefully and keep it handy for future reference.
This device has been designed and manufactured exclusively for the setting of
watering time by adults with experience and knowledge.
Any use other than that described in this manual is considered improper: the
manufacturer acknowledges no liability for damages arising from improper use,
which will also void the warranty. Do not power the water timer with sources
other than those specified. It is good policy – when the water timer is used
for the first time – to make certain that the programmes run correctly. Do not
use the water timer with chemicals or liquids other than water.
At the end of the season, before the winter frosts, disconnect the timer from
the tap, remove the battery and store the timer in a sheltered place, away
from damp, where the temperature does not fall below 3°C.

The water timer manages automatic watering by selecting one of the 15 pre-set
programmes. Each programme features a preset duration of watering (how long)
and frequency (how often): both parameters are already set and CAN NOT be
changed. To select and start a programme, turn the knob to one of the numbers
from 1 to 15 corresponding to the programme selected. Watering will start
after 10 seconds.
Please do this at the time you want the first irrigation cycle to start.
Following irrigation cycles will start according to the irrigation frequency
set for the selected programme
MODIFYING A PROGRAMME
To modify the irrigation programme, set the timer to OFF. Then, at the time you want the irrigation cycle to start, turn the selector to the new programme, from 1 to 15. The irrigation cycle will start and will be repeated according to the irrigation frequency set for the programme.
STOPPING WATERING IN ADVANCE WHEN ALREADY UNDER WAY
To stop an irrigation cycle in progress, turn the selector to OFF. Previous programming will be cancelled.
