Product Usage Instructions

Installation:
-
Open the cover of the photo frame.

Change any photo dimension to 7X5 Inch (17.8CM X 12.7CM).

Attach the cover of the photo frame.

The Camera Using Instructions:
The Indicator Lights:- The Red light indicates continuous recording mode.
- The Blue light indicates PIR motion detection mode.
- The Orange lights indicate the remaining battery power (It keeps on for 10 seconds every time when you operate the camera).
The Recording Mode Button:
It has 2 recording modes:
- Continuous recording mode: Push the V|P button to V position. It is in continuous video recording mode.
- PIR motion detection mode: Push the V|P button to P position. It is in PIR video recording mode.

The Power ON/OFF Button:
Push the ON/OFF button to ON position to start recording. Push it to OFF
position to stop recording and save the files. Please choose the recording
mode first before starting recording.
- How to Operate the Camera DVR:
- Before using the camera, insert a Micro SD card into the camera memory card slot located on the left side of the device.
- Continuous Recording and File Storage: In continuous recording mode (V position), push the power button to the ON position. The red light will blink three times and then go off, indicating that the camera has started recording. The orange power lights will turn on for 10 seconds and then go off. Push the power button to OFF position to save the files onto the Micro SD card (5 minutes of clip per file).
- PIR Recording and File Storage: In PIR mode (P position), push the power button to start recording.
- V/P Recording Mode Switch: The camera supports random switching between V (continuous recording mode) and P (PIR motion activated recording mode/low-power consumption mode). The orange lights will turn on for 10 seconds every time to display the remaining battery.
- Camera Reset/Reboot: If there is a wrong operation or any other unknown reasons causing the camera to stop recording or not provide any feedback, press the Reset button to reboot the device.
File Storage and Replay:
- Directly connect the photo frame camera to a computer using the Type-C USB cable (please make sure the USB cable has data transfer function) to access the memory card or play back the videos.
- If the USB cable is not working, you can also take out the memory card and access the files on a computer using a TF card reader.
- If there is no sound while playing the video, please use the VLC media player to read the files.
Format the Memory Card: If you can’t access the memory card, try quick format. However, remember that formatting the card will delete all your files. It is suggested to format the memory card before first use.

THE CAMERA USING INSTRUCTIONS:
The Indicator Lights:
- The Red light indicate continuous recording mode.
- The Blue light indicate PIR motion detection mode.

The Recording Mode Button:

files.(Please choose the recording mode firstly before start recording)
How to Operate the Camera DVR:
Before using the camera, please insert a Micro SD card to the camera memory
card slot which is on the left side of the device.

Continuous Recording and File Storage

At the continuous recording mode (mode button is on V), push the power button to the ON position, the red light blink three times and then goes off, the camera start recording. At the same time, the orange power lights turn on for 10 seconds and then goes off.

Push the power button to OFF position, the red and blue light both blink three times at the same time and then goes off, it save the files onto Micro SD card (5 minutes of clip per file).

PIR Recording and File Storage

At the PIR mode (the mode button is P), push the power button to the ON position, the blue light blink three times and then goes off, the camera is going to the PIR motion detect mode. At the same time, the orange power lights turn on for 10 seconds and then goes off.

Once the human body movement is detected, the camera will auto start recording and one file was saved per minute. If the human body movement is not detected, the camera stops recording and going to the low-power standby mode, it has no indicator light blinking under the PIR standby status; (Once the camera entering PIR motion mode, it can standby up to 180-days until the camera wake up recording by human motion, in this mode, please shut off the calendar display to avoid battery lose if it was disconnected with power socket)

Push the power button to OFF position, the red and blue lights both blink three times at the same time and then go out. Files was saved onto the Micro SD card and camera power off.

V/P Recording Mode Switch
The camera supports the random switching of V (continuous recording mode) and P (PIR motion activated recording mode/low-power consumption mode) ; the orange lights will turn on for 10 seconds every time to display the remaining battery. -
Camera Reset/Reboot
If for the wrong operation or any other unknown reasons, the camera stop recording or there is no any feedback from the DVR, please press the “R”reset button to reboot device. -
File Storage and Replay

Format the Memory Card
If you can’t access the memory card, please trying quick format. But remember if you format the card, all your files will be deleted. We suggest to format the memory card before first use.
Video Time Stamp Set
- Connect the device with computer by USB cable ——》Access the memory card on computer ——》Open the removable disk——》Find out the text document at the root directory
- Open the text document ‘time.txt’ and modify the time & date according the standard time in your state. Settings should be carried out based on the following format, and time should be 24 hour military format.
- TimeStamp=Y : Display timestamp in the video;
- TimeStamp=N : No timestamp in the video
- LoopRec =1 : Loop Recording enable: the old files will be overwrite once the memory card is full.
- LoopRec =0 : Loop Recording diable: Device stop recording once the memory card is full.
- Mic = 1 : Re cording video sync with sound.
- Mic = 0 : Doesn’t record audio
!! Please remember to save the txt document every time when you make any modification in the document.
Charging
The device was powered by 10000mAh battery inside, for long time using, we suggest to connect it with power source/socket by the Type-C charging cable(Included in the box). It support recording while charging,while charging, the orange lights will blink in sequence. After the battery is fully charged, all the 4 orange lights will stay on and will not blink anymore.

Trouble Shooting

Why both the red and blue lights keep on at the same time but not recording when you switch the camera ON?
- Check whether the memory card inside or not.
- Check whether the memory card is full or not.

Why the camera don’t recording or stop recording ?
Check whether the device is out of battery power, please charge the unit full at least 8 hours, if you want non-stop recording, please connect the unit for charging while recording. -
If there no sound while playing the video.
The camera is recording with audio, if it doesn’t play sounds , please use the VLC media player instead of yours. -
Why cannot access the memory card when connect the unit to computer ?
Please take out the memory card and access the files on computer by TF card reader. -
When the camera suddenly crashed or no any feedback for unknow reasons.
Please press the reset button to reboot camera. -
The unit get very hot while charging or recording, is it normally?
Yes, the unit would get a little higher surface temperature if it was recording, actually it is normal and it has built-in over heat protection, please don’t worry the safety issues.
Important Notice:
- The photo frame camera can record 2K video without WiFi, No App, No need WiFi connection.
- If the device is disconnected with power source, please power off the device to avoid battery lose while using PIR motion recording, which can last for long-time recording.
- Please fully charge the unit before using the product, and avoid recording at low battery status to keep efficiently performance.
- This camera has audio recording function, you can choose to shut off the audio function by modify the inner txt files.
- Please use this product in the area permitted by law and pay attention to the local laws.
