Product Information

The Vertical Mouse Evoluent 4 Small is the most advanced vertical mouse in the BakkerElkhuizen product portfolio. It is designed to provide a more natural and comfortable posture for the wrist, allowing for better productivity while sitting in front of a computer. The mouse is ergonomically designed with a ‘handshake grip’ position, which helps maintain a neutral posture for the wrist.

Standard Button Settings:

  • Top button – left click
  • Middle button – auto-scroll
  • Bottom button – right click
  • Wheel button – forward
  • Upper thumb button – back
  • Bottom thumb button – no function without driver

Adjusting Speed: To adjust the speed of the mouse, press the + or – button on the side of the mouse. The current setting can be read from the indicator lights on the top of the mouse.
Windows Install: Before connecting the Evoluent Mouse, it is recommended to remove any previous Evoluent Mouse Manager and other mouse software (except the touchpad driver) from the Control Panel’s Add or Remove

Programs. Follow these steps:

  1. Uncheck the box for Swap Primary and Secondary Buttons.
  2. Check the box for Enhance Pointer Precision.
  3. In Pointer Options, set the pointer speed slider to the middle position.

Customization: To customize the Evoluent Mouse, download and install the latest MAC or Windows driver from the BakkerElkhuizen website. The driver, Evoluent Mouse Manager, allows you to program the buttons and set different functions for each application.
Tips: Combine the Evoluent Mouse with a compact keyboard to reduce arm strain by minimizing the reach of the mouse. For more information about ergonomic solutions, visit the BakkerElkhuizen website.

INSTURCTION

  • With a standard mouse, the wrist is fully turned, i.e. the palm faces downwards. This is not a natural posture.
  • When you place your wrist in the ‘handshake grip’ position, it assumes a neutral posture.
  • This is easier to maintain and is, at the same time, more pleasant.
  • And the more comfortable you are sitting in front of your computer, the more productive you are.
  • The Evoluent Mouse is the most advanced vertical mouse in the BakkerElkhuizen product portfolio.BAKKER-ELKHUIZEN-BNEEVR4W-Vertical-Mouse-Evoluent-4-Small-FIG-1 \(1\)
