- STEP 1: Attach the extruded plastic bolts. Peel back the white tape liner from the bottom side of the extruded plastic bolt and press until it snaps into place. Ensure the inside of the Fender Flares where the rubber seal is attached is clean, using the provided alcohol wipes. Wipe away any residue with a dry, clean cloth.
- STEP 2: Attach the included rubber seal to the Fender Flares. Peel back 2 adhesive backings and position them on the Fender Flare. Attach the seal to the Fender Flare, peeling back a few inches at a time. Apply pressure to secure the rubber seal to the Fender Flare edge. Attach the rubber seal along all areas where the Fender Flare will make contact with the vehicle body.
- STEP 3: Trim excess rubber seal and discard.
- STEP 4: Clean the body areas where the Fender Flares will make contact. Ensure the fenders are dry prior to installation. Turn the tires outward for Fender Flare installation.
- STEP 5: For models with front factory mud guards, remove them using a #15 Torx head screwdriver at the upper and lower screw locations, and an M10 socket at the underside location indicated above. Retain the factory mud guards for later use if required, as the fender flares require the mud guards to be removed.
- STEP 6: Place the Fender Flare on the vehicle into the position of best fit. Note the slots in the Fender Flare at positions A and B, as well as the vehicle wheel arch. Remove the Fender Flare. Place small abrasive resistant tapes over the fender lip at positions A and B. Slide the large clips over the inner fender panel at positions A and B, ensuring the hook on the back of the clip engages over the fender lip.
- STEP 7: Place the Fender Flare on the vehicle into the desired position.
- STEP 8: Install the speed nut over the inner bumper panel at the indicated location.
- STEP 9: Starting at the front of the Fender Flare, carefully remove the tape liner from the extrusion a few inches at a time. Ensure that the extrusion is not tucking into the flare and sits flush neatly against the fender body. Apply forward pressure to adhere the extrusion along the edge of the entire length of the Fender Flare once the extrusion liner is removed. Ensure all fixing points are tight and secure, and that the extrusion is flush neatly against the vehicle body. Repeat the installation steps for the opposite side.
- Rear Fender Flare Installation
- STEP 10: Attach the extruded plastic bolts. Peel back the white tape liner from the bottom side of the extruded plastic bolt and press until it snaps into place. Ensure the inside of the Fender Flares where the rubber seal is attached is clean, using the provided alcohol wipes. Wipe away any residue with a dry, clean cloth.
