The Nexxt Solutions Wi-Fi Smart Ceiling Lamp (Model: NHB-C810) is a versatile and innovative lighting solution that offers both warm/cool white and RGB backlight options. With its smart Wi-Fi connectivity, this ceiling lamp allows you to control and customize the lighting settings using the Nexxt Home app.

The lamp consists of two main components: the core light and the ring LED light, which together provide a combination of ambient and task lighting. It is designed to be installed on a standard AC100V-120V 60Hz power source.

Product Usage Instructions

Installing the Ceiling Lamp

1. Before installation, ensure that the power is disconnected at the fuse or circuit breaker. Verify the correct supply voltage.
2. Properly connect the fixture according to the color scheme:
   • Blue wire: Neutral wire
   • Brown wire: Line cable
   • Green wire: Ground cable
3. Using the screws provided, fix the ceiling plate to the threaded holes.
4. Fit the lamp and the ceiling plate together and slightly rotate the lamp clockwise to secure it in place.

Installing the Nexxt Home App

1. Download and install the Nexxt Home app from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Open the app and follow the registration process:
   • Register by email and fill in the required fields.
   • Enter the verification code received through email.
   • Set a password for your account.
   • Complete the registration process.

Connecting the Ceiling Lamp to the App

1. Once the lamp is installed, open the Nexxt Home app.
2. Select “Add device” and wait for the app to automatically recognize your Smart Ceiling Lamp. If not recognized, click on the Smart light icon in the device list.
3. Ensure that the lamp’s white light is on and flickering, indicating that the pairing process has started. Click on “Add”. If it doesn’t enter pairing mode automatically, turn the lamp’s switch on and off 6 times consecutively.
4. Connect the lamp to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (not compatible with 5GHz networks). Click on “Next”.
5. Wait for approximately 1 minute for the lamp to connect to the app. Once a green checkmark appears, click on the lamp icon.
6. On the main screen of the app, use the switch buttons to control the color light (top switch) and white light (bottom switch) of the lamp. Slide your finger on the pad to select a desired color or choose one from the menu below each pad.

Installing the ceiling lamp

WARNING: Risk of electrical shock

• Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing. Verify that the supply voltage is correct. Connect fixture to a AC100V-120V 60Hz power source.

Properly connect the fixture

• Always follow code standards when installing wired connections.
• If you are not familiar with hardwired electrical connections, installation and wiring should be performed by a licensed electrician.

CAUTION: Risk of fire

• Do not install near combustible or flammable surfaces.

Warning: Risk of electric shock

• Do not use where directly exposed to water.

NOTICE

• Do not connect this fixture to a traditional dimmer switch or timer.
• The ceiling lamp must be installed on a steady and dry area.

1. Shut power off at the breaker
   • Find the breaker that controls the circuit for your ceiling lamp. Turn it off before you continue with the installation.
2. Wire according to the color scheme and use the wire nuts to isolate the wires.
   • Blue: Neutral wire.
   • Brown: Line cable.
   • Green: Ground cable.
3. Using the screws, fix the ceiling plate to the threaded holes.
4. Fit the lamp and the ceiling plate together and slightly rotate the lamp clockwise. After this, your ceiling lamp will be secure and ready for use.

Installing the Nexxt Home App

• Download the Nexxt Home app on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

• Step 1: Register by email. Fill in the required fields.

• Step 2: Enter the verification code you received.
• Step 3: Create a new password and then select Completed.
• Step 4: The Nexxt Home account has been successfully configured.

Connection

Once the Nexxt Smart Ceiling Lamp is installed, open your Nexxt Home application and follow these steps:

• Step 1
  • Select Add device and wait for around five seconds for the app to automatically recognize your Smart Ceiling Lamp. If not, click the “Smart light” icon on the device list. Make sure the lamp’s white light is on and flickering. This indicates that the pairing process has started. Click on Add.
  • Note: In case of not getting into pairing mode automatically, please turn the switch on and off 6 times consecutively to get into it.
• Step 2
  • Connect to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Remember that this Smart Ceiling Lamp does not work with 5GHz networks. Click on Next.
• Step 3
  • The lamp will connect to the app in about 1 minute. Once you see a green check added, click on the lamp icon.

Using Instructions

Switch

The main screen of this device will display two pads with their corresponding switch buttons. Click on the top switch to turn on the color light, and on the bottom switch to turn on the white light. Then, slide your finger on the pad to get the color you want or choose one from the menu below each pad.

Scenes

• The color palette icon takes you to the scene menu. You can choose from any of the 14 predetermined options. Otherwise, you can create your own by clicking on the plus (+) sign.
• You can name your own scene, and set up the shade, mode, brightness and speed of the color and white lights.

Power memory

The Power Memory feature (second-to-right icon in the menu) sets up how the lamp will behave when the energy returns after a power outage. You can choose the Do Not Disturb option to have the lamp not to turn on in this event; the Initial mode to get your device turn on in the product’s default mode; the Restore memory to have the lamp turn on in the last settings used; or Customized to choose a new setting for your lamp.

Music /Timer /Schedule

• The last icon in the menu gives you options to synchronize the lights with music, set a countdown timer for your lights to turn off, and add schedules to get your lights to turn on or off any day, any time.

Music

• Once you choose the Music option, play the music you want, place your phone near the sound source and click on Start. Then, the app will start searching for music.
• Once a tune is detected, the microphone icon will turn into a red, flashing music icon. Check your lights at this point. They’ll be dancing to the music!

Timer

• Click on Timer to program the time you want your lamp to stay on or off.
• The lights will turn off or on once the selected time is over.

Schedule

• Click on Schedule to program the time you want the color light, the white light, or both to turn on or off. Remember that each schedule allows you only one action, either turn on or off.
• If you want to schedule both actions, you need to create two schedules. Turn on Notification if you want the app to send you a message when the schedule is executed. Click on Tag to name your schedule, if you like.
• If you click on the ON/OFF button, you’ll see the pads for the color and white lights to select their shade and brightness.

Delete a schedule

Once you have created one or more schedules, they will appear in a list you can also access by clicking on Schedule. If you want to delete any of them, press on it and slide your finger to the left. Immediately, a “Delete” option will appear. Click on it, and voila: schedule deleted.

General settings

On the main page, next to the lamp name, you’ll find a pencil icon. Click on it to modify any of the following items:

• Smart Ceiling Lamp: Click on the pencil to change the icon, name or location of the device.
• Device information: This option shows the data related to the lamp.
• Tap-to-Run and automation: This option allows you to link the plug with other smart products to control them automatically by a special command.
• Third-party Control: This option enables voice recognition for Alexa and Google Assistant.
• Online Notifications: Tap this button to turn on and off this device’s notifications.
• Share Device: Click here to share the smart lamp access with family and friends.
• Create Group: This option allows you to manage your device by selecting and classifying multiple devices under a single group.
• Feedback: Here you can leave us a message in case any issue with the product comes up.
• Add to Home Screen: Get instant access to the device from the screen of your mobile phone.
• Device Update: From time to time, Nexxt Home adds new features or improves existing ones. Click here to view the update log or to choose between manual or automatic updates. We recommend Automatic Updates so that your application is always up to date.
• Delete Device: This option allows you to unpair the device from the Nexxt Home app.
