Product Usage Instructions

Insert/Remove SIM
To insert or remove the micro SD/SIM card:

  1. Refer to Panel Indicators 4 for guidance.
  2. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual to properly insert or remove the card.

Insert/Remove SSD
To insert or remove the SSD:

  1. Use a T6 screwdriver to remove the four screws below the nameplate (refer to Panel Indicators 5).
  2. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual to properly insert or remove the SSD.

Insert/Remove Battery
To insert or remove the battery:

  1. Refer to Panel Indicators 6 for guidance.
  2. Follow the instructions provided in the user manual to properly insert or remove the battery.

Setting Up Windows

4.1 Turn the Device On and Off

To turn on the device:

  1. Long press the Power Button on the upper right of the device body until the boot screen appears.

To turn off the device:

  1. Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
  2. Select the Power option and choose Shut Down to turn off the device.

To enter sleep mode:

  1. With the device turned on, short press the Power Button to turn off the screen and enter sleep mode.

To wake the device from sleep mode:

  1. Short press the Power Button again.
  2. Swipe up on the screen to unlock the device.

Home Screen Operation

To navigate the home screen:

  1. View device status and access applications.
  2. Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen to view the quick shortcut panel (Figure 1).
  3. To open an application, double-click its icon on the home screen.
  4. To close an application, click the X icon in the upper right corner of the application window.
  5. Click the Network Icon in the lower right corner to access network settings (Figure 2).
  6. To pin an application to the start menu, long press or right-click its icon and select Pin to start screen.
  7. To pin an application to the taskbar, long press or right-click its icon and select Pin to taskbar.
  8. Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen to view more content on the left side of the list.

WLAN Connection
To connect to a WLAN:

  1. Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
  2. Click the Settings Icon to enter the Windows settings panel.
  3. Select Network and Internet, then choose WLAN.
  4. Turn on the On switch to activate the WLAN.
  5. Select the desired network from the available networks list.
  6. Enter the network key to establish the connection.

Bluetooth Connection
To connect via Bluetooth:

  1. Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen.
  2. Go to Devices and select Bluetooth.
  3. Turn on the On switch to activate Bluetooth.

Setting Up Windows

Turn the Device On and Off

To turn on the device, long press the Power Button on the upper right of the device body until the boot screen appears. To turn off the device, click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen, click the Power , and select the Shut Down option to turn off the device.

With the device turned on, short press the Power Button to turn off the screen and enter sleep mode; short press the Power Button again to wake the device, and swipe up on the screen to unlock the device; If the device has been idle for a certain period, the screen will automatically turn off and enter sleep mode.

Home Screen Operation

  • From the home screen, you can view device status and access applications.
  • The bottom of the home screen is the status bar, which contains the notification area, status area, and display area; click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen to view the quick shortcut panel, as shown in Figure 1.
  • Use of applications: You can see all included applications on the home screen, double-click the application icon to open the corresponding program, and click in the upper right corner of the application window to close the application.
  • Click the Network Icon in the lower right corner to view settings such as WLAN, airplane mode, and mobile hotspot. Select the relevant content to set up, as shown in Figure 2.
  • Pin the application to the start menu: Long press or right-click the application icon, and select “Pin to start screen”, and the application icon will appear on the right start menu.
  • Pin the application to the taskbar: Long press or right-click the application icon, select “Pin to taskbar”, and the application icon will appear on the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen to view more content on the left side of the list, including alarm clocks, emails, pictures, etc.

WLAN Connection
Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen, click the Settings Icon , enter the Windows settings panel, click “Network and Internet”, enter the “Network & Internet” option, click “WLAN”, turn on the “On” switch, and activate WLAN. When Wi-Fi is turned on, a Wi-Fi icon appears in the status bar. Select the network to use from the list of available networks, and enter the network key to connect.

Bluetooth Connection

  • Activate Bluetooth: Click the Window sign at the lower left corner of the screen to enter the Windows Settings panel, go to the Devices options go to the Bluetooth option, and turn on the “On” switch to activate Bluetooth. After Bluetooth is turned on, a Bluetooth icon is displayed in the status bar.
  • Activate Bluetooth : Click the Windows Icon in the lower left corner of the screen, click the Settings Icon to enter the Windows settings panel, click the “Device” option to enter the Bluetooth and other device settings options, and turn on the “On” switch to activate Bluetooth. When Bluetooth is turned on, a Bluetooth icon will appear in the status bar.
  • Bluetooth pairing: The system will search for connectable Bluetooth devices in the list of available devices, click on the Bluetooth device you want to connect and enter the Bluetooth password in the pop-up “Bluetooth pairing request” to pair.

Check the laws and regulations in the area where you drive, and always obey them. Regularly check that the product is securely mounted and functioning properly in your vehicle. Radiofrequency signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded electronic systems in motor vehicles.

Emergency Communications

Network connections can be disrupted by a variety of factors, such as low battery levels, weak radio signals, and problems with service networks. Do do rely solely on the product for essential or emergency communications.

Antenna

Do not replace the antenna without authorization. Unauthorized antennas, modifications, or attachments may cause damage to the product and may even violate regulations that are designed to protect consumers and ensure safety. The product performance may be affected when the device is turned on if the antenna area is touched or covered.

The SAR limit of EU is 2.0 W/kg averaging over ten grams of tissue. has also been tested against this SAR limit. GTW8102 (FCC 2A 96I GTW8102 ) has also been tested against this SAR limit. This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the device kept 0 mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0 mm separation distance between the user’s body and the back of the phone. The use of belt clips, holsters, and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in its assembly.
