SJ11 Active Action Camera User Manual
User Guide
Please read the user guide carefully before using the camera for the first
time.
Safety Guide 1. Do not put the product near objects with strong magnetic
fields, such as magnets or motors, and also avoid the product from emitting
strong radio wave objects to avoid possible product failures caused by strong
magnetic fields and radio waves. 2. Please select a formal brand Micro SD
card. 3. Do not put the Micro SD card near objects with strong magnetic fields
to avoid files loss. 4. If the product overheats, smokes or smells during
charging, please pull out the charging device immediately to stop charging, so
as to avoid fire. 5. When charging, please place the product out of the reach
of children to avoid electric shock and other accidents. 6. Please place the
product in a cool, dry and dust-free place. Do not expose the product to high
temperature or direct sunlight. 7. This product is a high-precision
instrument. Do not drop or collide.
Please choose an official recycling point to recycle this product or battery.
Do not discard it in the garbage. If you have any problems, please contact the
customer service. Do not disassemble the device without authorization!

Remote Button Description
After starting up, enter the preview screen, slide down from the top (Figure
1), click the remote icon to select remote matching, the camera enters the
remote matching interface (Figure 2), and then press the remote record key and
the photo key at the same time. After the matching is successful, the camera
will display that matching is complete (Figure 3), and then click the screen
to operate the camera through the remote.
- Turn off key: turn off the camera
- Photo key: take photos
- WIFI key. tum on/off the WiFi on the camera
- Recording key: start/stop recording (Note: The remote is not a standard accessory and needs to be purchased separately)
App Download
Scan the QR code on your mobile phone or go to the App Store and Google Store to search for “SJCAM ZONE” to download and install the App.
WIFI Connection
- Swipe the screen from top to bottom; tap the WiFi icon to open the camera WiFi, the QR code will be displayed on the camera screen.
- Open the downloaded app on your phone, click on ‘Connect Camera – Scan Code to Connect’, scan the QR code on the camera and your phone will enter the APP preview screen (there may be slight differences between different mobile phone systems).
- After successful connection, you can take photos, record videos and set up your camera on the App page.
Operation Guide

Micro SD card installation
Press the button and slide the entire cover down to open the Micro SD card connector, insert the card into the slot as shown and gently Press inwards until you hear a click and it is in place.

Video
You can enter the video mode by pressing the OK button briefly to record videos. You can also swipe up the screen to enter the mode menu. Click on the video icon to enter the video mode, press the OK button briefly to record.
Note: After setting the mode, the camera will remember the mode before it is switched off when it is switched on again. -
Photo
After the camera is switched on, slide up the screen (as shown below) to enter the mode interface, click on the photo icon to enter photo mode, short press the OK button to take photos.

Playback
When the camera is switched on, click on the playback icon in the bottom left corner of the screen (as shown below) to enter playback mode, select the video/photo to be played back and press the OK button to check. -
Front and back screen switching
A. Slide down from the top after switching on the camera (as shown) and click on the small display icon to switch to the front screen display.
B. Double click the OK button after switching on the camera can also switch to the front screen display. C. When the camera is on the front screen, double click the OK button or double click the back screen to switch to the back screen display.
Note: Front and back screens cannot be displayed at the same time. -
Car mode
After turning on the camera, slide up the screen (as below) to enter the mode interface, click the car mode icon to enter the car mode recording. Note: 1. If you need to mount the camera upside down when using the car mode, you need to turn on the rotation in the system settings. After connecting the car power adapter, the camera will automatically start recording when you start the car, and will automatically stop recording and shut down after 5 seconds when you disconnect the power.
Two charging ways
A. Connect the computer, and use the power adapter or car charger to charge. The red light of the device is always on when charging, and off after fully charged.
B. Remove the battery and use a special charger (purchased separately) for charging.
Note: Please select SV1A and 5V2A output power adapters. -
Recording settings A.Click on the resolution icon (Figure 1) and the mode setting icon (Figure 2) at the bottom of the screen in the video preview screen, slide the screen to select the option you need to set and click to confirm your selection.
