Thankyou for your purchase of Honeywell Miller fall protection equipment manufactured by Honeywell Industrial Safety.
This manual is about how to install and operate the ONE-PULL suspension trauma relief steps package.
Warning: Please read, understand, and follow this instruction before you use the equipment. Do not use this equipment unless you are properly trained. While using this equipment after a fall arrest, remain vertical. Do not attempt to lie down. All persons using this equipment must read, understand, and follow the instruction. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
Description: The Honeywell Miller ONE-PULL Suspension Trauma Relief Steps are designed to be installed on both sides of your full body harness. They provide instant support and enhance blood circulation by allowing users to quickly stand up in their harness and relieve the pressure being applied to the arteries and veins around the top of the legs.
Installation: The ONE-PULL suspension trauma relief steps package is recommended install on a full-body harness. This ONE-PULL relief trauma steps is composed of two pockets, marked with “L” and “R”. Ensure the left and right pockets are installed correctly.

  1. Attach “L’ case to the left side of harness.

  2. Mount to webbing loop consisting of left back strap and auxiliary strap.

  3. Pass the case through the case strap and  choke it down on the harness loop.

  4. Attach to left back strap with Velcro to hold the case in place.

  5. Complete left side installation.

Repeat for the opposite relief trauma step on the opposite side. Ensure both pockets are present.

Training: Itis essential that the users of this equipment receive proper training, including detailed procedures for installation and the safe use of such equipment in their work application. Check with our website for more video or training course proposal.
Inspection: Include the relief steps during the daily harness inspection before use. Check for damage, wear, fraying, cuts, abrasion, burns and knots. When inspection reveals defects in or damage to this equipment, the equipment shall be tagged as “unusable”, removed
from service, and immediately discarded.
Presetting: It is highly recommended to adjust the length of the trauma relief steps for yourself in advance. Please follow below instruction about how to presetting, repacking and operation in use.

PRE-SETTING:

  1. Standing on the ground. puUdown the bottom tags of bothtrauma relief steps to deploy webbing and steps.

  2. Press the adjustment buckle to adjust the total length on both steps.

  3. Make sure both steps are on the top of your shoes.
    REPACKING:

  4. After presetting. repackand insert the relief trauma steps back into the casing and fasten the button.

OPERATION:

  1. Pull both bottom tags down and deploy

  2. Insert feet into the trauma relief steps. the trauma relief steps on each side. (See Figure 7)
    *If presetting has not been done before or done properly, press the buckle to adjust suitable length for both sides.

  3. Stand up in your harness and start motioning your legs. This will relieve the pressure being applied to the arteries and veins around the top of your legs.
