VICTROLA Hi-Res Carbon Bluetooth Turntable
Product Information
The product is a turntable model VPT-1500 or VPT-2500. It comes with various features and components including a speed selector, slipmat, dust cover, cartridge, 45 RPM adaptor, counterweight, anti-skate knob, tonearm lift lever, tonearm holder, removable headshell, control button, RCA output with ground, pre-amp switch, AC power port, and auto-stop switch. The turntable is compatible with recommended models such as the Ortofon 2M Series and Audio Technica AT-VM95E Series cartridges. The recommended downforce numbers for these cartridges are 1.6-2.0g for the Ortofon 2M Series and 1.8-2.2g for the Audio Technica AT-VM95E Series. For Ortofon OM Series cartridges, the recommended downforce range is 1.5-2.0g. The power input for the turntable is AC 100-240V ~ 50HZ/60HZ. It also has Bluetooth capabilities with version 5.4 and supports profiles such as A2DP and AVRCP. It supports aptX HD, aptX, and SBC audio formats. The turntable has RCA outputs with a built-in pre-amp.
Product Usage Instructions
- Connect the power cord to the AC power port of the turntable.
- Place the slipmat on the platter.
- Attach the dust cover to protect the turntable.
- Select the desired speed using the speed selector.
- If using a 45 RPM record, attach the 45 RPM adaptor to the spindle.
- Adjust the counterweight to achieve the recommended downforce for your cartridge. Use the back line or front line as a reference depending on the cartridge model. Align the counterweight accordingly.
- Set the anti-skate knob to match the downforce setting.
- Lift the tonearm using the tonearm lift lever.
- Place the record on the platter and gently lower the tonearm onto the record.
- Use the tonearm holder when you need to temporarily secure the tonearm.
- Use the control button to start or stop the turntable.
- Connect the RCA cable from the RCA output to your audio system or external amplifier.
- If needed, use the pre-amp switch to enable or disable the built-in pre-amp.
- For Bluetooth connectivity, refer to the user manual for pairing instructions and use your Bluetooth-enabled devices to connect to the turntable.
- Use the auto-stop switch to enable or disable automatic stop after playing a record.

AUTO-STOP SWITCH
- ON: Plat platter will begin spinning when the tonearm hovers over the edge of the record and stop spinning at the end of the record to prevent stylus wear.
- OFF: The Platter will spin when speed control is set to 33 or 45, regardless of tonearm position.
PRE-AMP SWITCH
- LINE : Set the switch to line if connecting to line line-level input on speakers or amplifier.
- PHONO : Set the switch to phono if using an external pre-pre-amp or amplifier with phono input.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
- The unit automatically powers off if no playback for 15 minutes.
- The wired RCA output is disabled when the mode is set to Bluetooth Out.
- The unit automatically starts Bluetooth pairing when entering Bluetooth Out mode.
- To reset the unit, press and hold the function button (5 seconds).
- This will remove and forget all previously paired Bluetooth devices.
INSTALLATION
- SET THE SLIPMAT ASIDE AND PLACE THE PLATTER ONTO THE TURNTABLE.
- ROTATE THE PLATTER UNTIL THE HOLE WITH THE GUIDE STRING IS DIRECTLY OVER THE MOTOR SPINDLE AS SHOWN.
- CAREFULLY REMOVE THE TAPED GUIDE STRING AND USE THE STRING TO STRETCH THE BELT OVER THE MOTOR SPINDLE.
- ONCE THE BELT IS INSTALLED AROUND THE MOTOR SPINDLE, DISCARD THE GUIDE STRING AND PLACE THE SLIPMAT ON THE PLATTER.
- INSERT THE HEADSHELL INTO THE TONEARM AND TIGHTEN THE TONEARM COLLAR COUNTER-CLOCKWISE UNTIL THE HEADSHELL IS SECURE.
- ORTOFON 2M SERIES:(VPT-2500) PUSH THE STYLUS COVER TAB DOWN /FORWARD AND GENTLY SLIDE THE COVER OFF.
- AUDIO TECHNICA VM95 SERIES: (VPT-1500) GENTLY PULL THE COVER OFF OF THE CARTRIDGE.
- SLIDE THE COUNTERWEIGHT ONTO THE TONEARM UNTIL THE FRONT OF THE COUNTERWEIGHT IS ALIGNED WITH THE BACK GROOVE ON THE TONEARM.
- Note : Remove the two foam blocks from the tonearm before installing the counterweight.
- ONCE ALIGNED WITH THE CORRECT GROOVE, TURN THE TOP SCREW CLOCKWISE TO TIGHTEN THE COUNTERWEIGHT.
- Note : You may need to adjust the anti-skate if you notice distortion, skipping, or looping during playback.
- USE THE SPEED SELECTOR KNOB TO SELECT YOUR RECORD SPEED.
- PLACE THE 45 RPM ADAPTER ON THE SPINDLE NEXT TO THE SPEED CONTROL TO STORE IT WHEN NOT IN USE.

Before Use
- Choose the unit installation location carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or close to a source of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibrations and excessive dust, cold, or moisture. Keep away from sources that hum, such as transformers or motors.
- Do not open the cabinet as this may result in damage to the circuitry or electrical shock. If a foreign object should get into the set, contact Customer Service.
- Be sure not to handle records with dirty fingers. Never play a record that has a crack on the surface.
- When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug, never pull the cord.
- To protect the stylus, don’t forget to put on the white protective needle cover after use.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish. Use a clean, dry cloth.
- To shut off the power to this product completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Be sure to unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an extended period, such as a vacation.
- Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.

retail purchaser that this product will be free from defective materials and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, subject to the
limitations below. This warranty period is not extended if we replace the
product. To obtain a replacement under the terms of this warranty, you must
contact the dealer from which it was purchased with your original receipt. If
assistance from the dealer from which it was purchased is impossible, you may
contact our customer service for warranty assistance at
victrola.com/contact. Except as limited below,
if the product proves defective in either material or workmanship within one
(1) year from the date of purchase, Victrola will replace the product at no
charge. If the product model is no longer available and cannot be replaced
with an identical model, Victrola will issue a merchandise credit for the

Limitations:
- This limited warranty does not cover failure of the product arising, in whole or in part, from improper installation, storage, transportation, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, mishandling, unauthorized repair, modification, or wear from ordinary use or environmental deterioration.
