1 . Configuring the baby monitor with a video camera
A. Connecting power to the camera.
- Connect the smaller plug of the power supply to and the other plug to
- a suitable electrical socket.
- Use only the supplied power supply V DC, 1000 mA).
- Make sure the switch is in the “ON” position.
WARNING:
Choking Hazard: Children may become entangled in the cords and suffocate.
The cord must be out of the reach of children (over 1 meter away).
Do not use extension cords with power supplies. Use only the AC adapter
supplied.
B. Connecting power to the monitor

Connect the DC plug of the power adapter to the monitor and the other plug to an appropriate electrical outlet.

Use only the included power supply (5 V DC, 1000 mA).

The monitor has a battery inserted (lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 2000mAh), which allows it to be moved without losing the connection and the image transmitted by the camera. The battery allows the monitor to operate for up to 5 hours.
Before first use, we recommend charging it for 16 hours. You should also charge the monitor when it indicates a low battery level. -
To turn on the monitor, press and hold the power switch 0.
ATTENTION
When the camera and monitor are turned on and within range of each other, the
monitor should display a color image from the camera. If the room is dark, the
image is black and white and includes ah icon indicating the infrared light
emitted by the camera.

Limited Warranty for Products and Accessories (“Warranty”)
Thank you for purchasing a Motorola product manufactured under license by
Meizhou Guo Wei Electronics co., Ltd. (“MZGW”).
What does the warranty cover?
Subject to the exclusions set forth below, MZGW warrants that this Motorola
branded product (“Product”) or approved accessory (“Accessory”) sold for use
with this Product is free from defects in materials and workmanship under
normal use during the period set forth below. This warranty is an exclusive
warranty and is not transferable.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS; A CONSUMER MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE, TO COUNTY TO COUNTRY AND TO COUNTRY. FOR CONSUMERS COVERED BY CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR REGULATIONS IN THE COUNTRY OF PURCHASE OR, IF DIFFERENT, THE COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, THE BENEFITS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN ADDITION TO ALL RIGHTS AND PROVISIONS CONTAINED HEREIN CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR REGULATIONS. This Warranty applies only to the first consumer who purchased the product and
is not transferable.

MZGW’s obligations?
MZGW or its authorized distributor will repair or replace Products and
Accessories that do not meet the parameters specified in the Warranty, free of
charge, at its sole discretion and within a reasonable time. The Company may
use functionally equivalent refurbished/repaired/used or new Products,
Accessories or parts.
Other restrictions?
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE INCLUDED ONLY DURING
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. REPAIRS OR REPLACEMENTS OFFERED UNDER THIS LIMITED
WARRANTY ARE THIS IS THE CUSTOMER’S SOLE REMEDY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MOTOROLA AND MZGW ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE
LIABILITY IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING CASES OF NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES
WHICH EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ACCESSORY AND FOR ANY
INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF REVENUE OR
PROFIT, LOSS OF ABILITY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS, OR INFORMATION OR OTHER FINANCIAL
DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES OR THE INABILITY TO
USE THEM TO THE FULL EXTENT THAT SUCH LIABILITY MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages or limitations on the duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from location to location.
Exclusions
Standard wear and tear. Warranty protection does not cover: periodic maintenance, repair and replacement of parts related to normal wear and tear of the product.
Batteries. The warranty only covers batteries whose capacity when fully charged is less than 80% of the nominal capacity, and batteries that leak.
Incorrect use. Damage and defects resulting from: (a) improper handling, storage, use, accident or negligence, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches) to the surface of the product resulting from its improper use (b) contact with liquids, water, rain, excessive humidity or fumes, sand, dirt, etc., excessive heat or food (c) use of the products and accessories for commercial use or use in inappropriate conditions or use contrary to the instructions, and (d) other actions not caused by MOTOROLA and MZGW are not covered by warranty.
Use of non-Motorola branded products and accessories. Damage and defects resulting from the use of non-Motorola branded or approved products and accessories, or the use of other peripheral devices, are not covered by the warranty.
Unauthorized servicing and modifications. Faults or damage resulting from service, testing, adjustments, installations, maintenance, changes or modifications performed by parties other than MOTOROLA, MZGW or their authorized service centers are excluded from the scope of the warranty.
Modified products. Products and accessories whose (a) serial numbers and date markings have been removed, altered or damaged; (b) the seals have been damaged or show signs of tampering; (c) the serial numbers do not match, or (d) the cases or parts are not Motorola branded or are inconsistent are excluded from warranty protection.
Communication services. Damage, faults or failures of products and
accessories caused
operation of the communication services you use are not covered by warranty.

You will receive information on how to send products and accessories at your own expense and risk to an authorized MZGW service center. To request service, please submit: (a) the product or accessory; (b) original proof of purchase (receipt), specifying the place and date of purchase and the name of the seller; (c) if there was a warranty card in the package – a completed warranty card with the product serial number; (d) a written description of the problem and, above all; e) your address and telephone number.
The above terms constitute the entire warranty agreement between you and the Company MZGW regarding purchased products or accessories and replace all previous agreements and representations, including statements made in publications and promotional materials issued by MZGW and statements of MZGW employees and representatives submitted in respect of said purchase.
Disposal of the device (environmental protection)
At the end of use, the product must not be disposed of with other household
waste. Please take the product to a waste equipment collection point
electrical and electronic. This is indicated by the symbol placed on the
product, in the user manual and/or on the packaging.
Some of the product’s materials can be reused if the product is taken to a
collection point.
Reusing parts or raw materials from used products significantly contributes to
the protection of the natural environment.
For more information about collection points in your area, please contact your
local authority.
Rechargeable batteries should be disposed of in an environmentally friendly
manner in accordance with local regulations.
