Product Information
The UE-250 USB Repeater Cable is an active extension cable that allows you to extend the distance between your computer and your USB peripherals by 5 meters (16 feet). It regenerates transmitted USB signals to maintain optimal signal integrity and meets the USB 2.0 specification.

System Requirements
- Whistler; Windows: XP, 2000, Me, 98 SE; Mac OS 8.6 or higher
- Note: Only systems with a USB 2.0 driver installed can support data transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps; all others only support speeds of up to 12 Mbps.
- USB 2.0 Host Controller installed on the system.
- Note: The UE-250 can be connected to a USB 1.1 Host Controller, but in that case, it only supports USB 1.1 speeds (1.5 – 12 Mbps).
Product Usage Instructions
- Installation:
- Plug the UE-250 USB cable into the computer’s USB port or a USB hub.
- Plug the USB peripheral into the UE-250 socket.
- That’s all there is to it.
- Troubleshooting:
- Problem: The device operates erratically
- Cause: Static electricity or insufficient power may cause the device to operate erratically.
- Solution: Reset the device by unplugging the cable and then plugging it back in or use external power to your linked devices.

All USB signals transmitted through it are regenerated to maintain optimal signal integrity to meet the USB 2.0 specification.

Installation
