PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

INSTALLATION-KEYPAD

Pull out the battery cover at the bottom.

Insert the batteries. See battery orientation at the back of the Keypad.

Place the battery cover back.
INSTALLATION OPTION 1: WITH DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE
-
Remove the backing of the adhesive at the back of the mounting plate. Stick the mounting plate to the place where you wish to install the Keypad.
Note: Please place the Keypad within 1.5 meter (3 feet) away from the Smart Lock. -
Mount the bottom of the Keypad to the mounting plate first like the following left picture and then press the Keypad against the mounting plate.
INSTALLATION OPTION 2: WITH SCREWS

Place the mounting plate on the wall at the position where you wish to install. Use a pen to mark the two holes on the wall.Note: Please place the Keypad within 1.5 meter (3 feet) away from the smart lock.

Use the provided drill bit to drill two holes at the marked spots.

Insert the plastic anchors into the two holes, use a hammer to gently tap them in until they are flush with the wall.

Place the mounting plate over the two screw holes, use the provided screws to secure the mounting plate against the wall.

Mount the bottom of the Keypad to the mounting plate first like the following left picture and then press the Keypad against the mounting plate.
TAKE OFF THE KEYPAD
If you need to take off the Keypad, you can press the snap fit of the mounting
plate with the screwdriver to remove the Keypad.
PREPARATION FOR USE

MOES App is upgraded as much more compatibility than Tuya Smart/Smart Life App, functional well for scene controlled by Siri, widget and scene recommendations as the fully new customized service.
Note: Tuya Smart/Smart Life App still works, but MOES App is highly recommended) -
Registration or Log in
Enter the Register/Login interface; tap “Register” to create an account by
entering your phone number to get verification code and “Set password”. Choose
“Log in”if you already have a MOES account.
STEPS FOR CONNECTING THE APP TO THE DEVICE

Turn on Bluetooth on the mobile.
Reset:
⑴ Open the battery cover of the Keypad. -
Long press the unlock button( )and close the battery cover at the same time, don’t release the unlock button( )until you hean beeps from the Keypad.

Keypad is reset successfully when you hear a beep and release the unlock button( ).
3. Open MOES App and Click “+”, then the prompt page will automatically show
on the screen. Click “Add”.
4. Add the device successfully, you can edit the name of the device to enter
the device page by click “Next”, and enjoy your smart life with home
automation.
Keypad binding smart door lock

Make sure your MOES Smart APP has successfully connected to a smart door lock.

Enter keypad device interface and click icon, click “Add” to select the smart door lock to be bound.

Click “Starr Binding”, the binding is successful.

Click the Key icon on the Keypad page to set up password.Once the Keypad is set up, it’s necessary to go to the Smart Lock App Page and tap the “Settings” to turn the “Keypad Mode” on so that the Keypad can unlock the Smart Lock successfully.
NOTE: The smart lock doesn’ t support multi-channel communication. This means when the Bluetooth of smart lock is connected to the Smart phone, or the Gateway, the Keypad will not be able to connect to the smart lock. If you fail to unlock the door with Keypad, you can always use the App to unlock or lock the door.
OPERATION OF SMART KEYPAD

Online Password
You can set up 3 types of online passwords including permanent password, one- time password which expires in 6 hours and time-limited password when the Bluetooth of the phone connects the Bluetooth of the Keypad.
The 3 types of online passwords you can set up is 50 passwords totally. The maximum number of passwords for each type you can set up is 50.
The number of digits of each password should be within 6 to 10. -
Offline Password
If you are far away from the home, the Bluetooth of the phone and the Bluetooth of the Keypad is not connected, you can set up 2 types of offline passwords including one-time password which expires in 6 hours and time- limited password. The 2 types of online passwords you can set up is 20 passwords totally. The maximum number of passwords for each type you can set up is 20. The number of digits of each passwordshould be 10.Please note that the offline temporary ne-time or time-limited password
should be used at least one time within 24 hours once it is created. Otherwise the password will be invalid. -
Clearing Code
If you want to delete the offline time-limited password, you have to get a clearing code and type them on the Keypad and press the Unlock icon( ) to clear the offline password on the Keypad.
Otherwise, you can still unlock the door lock with offline time-limited password you set up. Please note that Clearing Code will clear the time-limited password that used at least once. If the offline password hasn’t been used at least one time, it’s not ok to clear them with a clearing code. However the time-limited offline password will be invalid if it hasn’t been used within 24 hours once it’s generated. -
Dynamic Password
If you are far away from the home, the Bluetooth of the phone and the Bluetooth of the Keypad is not connected, you can generate a dynamic password which is only valid 5 minutes and share it with visitors.
Note:

If you fail to add the Keypad in the App, please reset the Keypad.How to reset the Keypad?
Long press the unlock icon ( ),take out the batteries, put them back in and close the battery cover, don’t release the unlock icon ( ) until you hear beeps from the Keypad.
Keypad is reset successfully when you hear a beep. -

Before using the Keypad to unlock the
Smart Lock, it’s necessary to go to the Smart Lock App Page, tap the“ Settings” and enable “Keypad Mode”, so that the Keypad can unlock the Smart Lock successfully.
You have to turn the Keypad Mode off before the following 3 actions, otherwise these 3 actions might be failed:
(1) When you have to recalibrate the Smart Lock.
(2) When you have to update the firmware of the Smart Lock.
(3) When you bind the Keypad.
After the above actions completed, please turn “Keypad Mode” on. -
Before updating the new firmware of the Smart Lock, make sure to turn off “Keypad Mode” on the Smart Lock setting page and unbind the Smart Lock on the Gateway page if you have bound a gateway, or the firmware update will fail. After updating firmware, turn on “Keypad Mode” if you have a Keypad and bind the Smart Lock to the Gateway.
