Minka 72400 35 W 2 Light GU10 Sconce
Product Information
This product is a light fixture, Model 72400, designed for installation in indoor or outdoor areas. It comes with all the necessary parts for installation, including a crossbar, mounting screws, a lock nut, and bulbs (2 x GU10 35W included). The fixture has wires for connection to an electrical outlet box. It also has a ground wire for connection to a ground source, either through the outlet box or directly to the circular strap using the provided green screw.
The fixture is designed to prevent moisture from entering the outlet box by using clear caulking (such as Indoor/Outdoor Silicone Sealant) to seal the outside of the fixture back plate where it meets the wall. This caulking should leave a space at the bottom to allow moisture to escape. It is important not to exceed the maximum wattage rating of the bulbs to ensure safe operation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting installation, shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts on a clear area.
- Attach the crossbar to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws.
- Thread the nipple into the crossbar. Adjust its length if necessary.
