Safety

  • Do not let children use this device and keep it out of their reach.
  • This device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and/or knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children must not play with the device.
  • Assembly and cleaning of this device must never be carried out by children.
  • Keep wrapping and packaging material away from children. There is a choking hazard. Also pay attention that children do not pull the packaging material over their heads.
  • The device contains a lithium polymer battery. Avoid dismantling, throwing into fire or short-circuiting the battery. Risk of explosion! Protect the built-in battery from excessive heat. The battery is firmly installed in the device and cannot and must not be replaced or removed. Improper removal of the battery may result in a risk of explosion. If the battery is defective, contact the service centre or a specialist workshop.

Danger from electricity

  • Do not make any modifications to the item.
  • Only allow repairs to be carried out at a specialist workshop, since inexpertly repaired devices can present hazards to the user.
  • Do not open the housing and do not insert any objects into the housing apertures.
  • Do not place any containers filled with liquids on or near the device. The container may tip over and the leaking fluid may adversely affect the electrical safety.

WARNING of risk of injury

  • Take care when handling the sharp blade attachment or when emptying or cleaning the container.
  • Do not touch the knives with bare hands.
  • Do not use the device if the blades are damaged.
  • Do not touch moving parts of the device and do not attempt to stop them by hand or using other objects.
  • After switching off, the attachments continue running for a short time. Wait for the moving parts to stop completely before touching them or handling the device.

NOTE on material damage

‚ This device is designed for intermittent operation with brief cycles. After each working cycle, let the device cool down for 1 minute. The duration of a working cycle depends on the selected speed level:
Level 1 = 70 seconds
Level 2 = 65 seconds
Level 3 = 60 seconds
Level 4 = 55 seconds
Level 5 = 50 seconds
After three consecutive working cycles, let the device cool down completely for 30 minutes.

  • When operating the device, only use the original accessories provided.

  • Do not try to use the device to chop hard ingredients or stones, and always remove stems or stalks from ingredients before chopping them. If using the device to chop meat, remove any bones or tendons beforehand.

  • Do not operate the device with an empty container as this can cause its overheating.

  • Stop processing food immediately if you notice that the blade or any other attachment used rotates very slowly or is completely stuck.
    Check the inside of the container for any obstacles, whether the food being processed is too tough or hard, whether the blade or any other attachment used is stuck, and whether the chopper is correctly assembled.

  • Never place the device on or near hot surfaces (e.g. hot plates, etc.).

  •  Keep the USB charging cable away from hot parts.

  • The device must not be exposed to high temperatures (heating, etc.) or adverse weather conditions (rain, etc.).

  • The device must be operated on a stable, smooth and easy-to-clean working surface. When processing foods, occasional splashes are unavoidable.

Intended use

This cordless mini-chopper (or simply chopper) is intended for processing suitable foods.

  • The plastic container with lid is designed for chopping vegetables, fruit, meat and other foods.
  • The whisk is intended for beating eggs and cream.
  • The stirrer serves to whip creams and dips.

The device is primarily intended for private use in small kitchens, during camping, travelling, etc., and is not intended for commercial use.
The device must not be used to mix boiling or hot liquids.
You cannot use this device to knead dough.
Please be aware that the blades will wear out more quickly, if used to process very hard food items.

Start-up

Unpacking and checking

  1. Take the device out of its packaging and carefully remove all the packing material.
  2. Check that the delivery is complete.
  3. Check that the device and its individual parts show no visible damage. If this is the case, do not use the device. In this case, contact the dealer where you bought the device.
  4. Before first use, clean all parts as described in chapter “Cleaning”.

Charging the battery

  1. Open the rubber tab.
  2. Insert one end of the USB charging cable (included) into the USB socket of the device and the other end into the USB socket of the USB charger.
    The control panel indicator shows the charging status.
    − Lights red: Battery is charging
    − Lights blue: Battery is fully charged
    3. Close the rubber tab after charging.
    • It takes approx. 3 hours to charge the battery before the first use.
    • A fully charged battery enables from 2.5 to 3 hours of use.
    **** The battery must be recharged if the device does not switch on or if the indicator flashes red.

Switching the device on/off

  1. To switch on the chopper, tap the button twice. The device always starts at speed level 5 (which is the highest level).
  2. Repeatedly tap the button to select the desired speed level (from 1 to 5). Check the indicator.
  3. To switch off the chopper, keep the button pressed for a few seconds.

Use

Inserting/changing the whisk/stirrer
Select the attachment in accordance with the food to be processed:

  • The whisk is intended for beating eggs and cream.
  • The stirrer serves to whip creams and dips.
  • The device and its attachments are not designed for kneading dough.

Overview1

  1. Ensure that the chopper is powered off.
  2. Insert the desired attachment into the dedicated slot. The attachment must engage with an audible click.

To change the attachment:

  1. Power off the device and wait for the attachments to stop completely.
  2. Remove the attachment with a little force.

Mixing

  • Never reach into the running attachments!
    Always wait for the attachments to stop completely before replacing them.

NOTE on material damage

  • After each working cycle, let the device cool down for 1 minute. The duration of a working cycle depends on the selected speed level:
    Level 1 = 70 seconds
    Level 2 = 65 seconds
    Level 3 = 60 seconds
    Level 4 = 55 seconds
    Level 5 = 50 seconds
    After three consecutive working cycles, let the device cool down completely for 30 minutes.
  1. The mixing bowl must be placed on an anti-slip and level surface.
  2. Add the desired ingredients to the mixing bowl. Do not use the included plastic container as a mixing bowl.
  3. Dip the whisk or stirrer into the ingredients before switching on the chopper.
  4. It is recommended that you start processing at a lower level and then switch the chopper to a higher level after a few seconds. This will prevent loose ingredients from being thrown out.
  5. To switch off the chopper, keep the button pressed for a few seconds. Always wait for the attachment to stop completely before removing it from the container.

  •  The blade attachment must be handled with care. The knives are sharp.

NOTE on material damage

  • The chopper must not be used to process very hard foods such as coffee beans or ice. Otherwise, this could damage the device.

The container lid and plastic container are designed for chopping vegetables, fruit, meat and other foods.
Preparing foods

  • Cut your ingredients into small 1 to 2 cm pieces before putting them into the container.
  • If using meat, remove all bones, tendons and skin.

Chopping Food

  1. Remove the container lid from the plastic container.

  2. Attach the blade attachment inside the plastic container.

    − The hex-shaped opening must face upwards.

  4. Place the container lid on the plastic container. The container lid has recesses allowing it to be placed correctly in one position only.

  5. Put the handle onto the container lid.
    If necessary, adjust the handle so that it fits securely into the plastic container. Continue to hold the handle.

  6. Hold the plastic container firmly with one hand.

  7. Tap the button twice to switch on the device.
    **** The plastic container must not be used to store food in it. When you are done, pour out the processed food directly.

Fault/Remedy

Fault Possible cause
No function. • Is the battery charged?

• Is the battery still charging?
Blade or other attachment used rotates slowly or is completely stuck or all control panel indicators flash at the same time (1 red, 2-5 blue).| •  Switch off the chopper immediately and check the following:
− Are there any obstacles in the plastic container?
− Is the blade/ attachment blocked?
− Is the container lid placed correctly?
− Is the food being processed too tough or hard?

Cleaning

WARNING against injury

  •  The blade attachment must be handled with care. The knives are sharp.

NOTE on material damage

  • Never use steam cleaners, sharp objects, harsh chemicals, hard, scratchy or abrasive detergents for cleaning the device.
  • The device must not be cleaned with hard, scratchy or abrasive detergents, steel wool or similar. They could scratch the surface.
  1. Switch off the device and wait for the moving parts to stop completely.
  2. If necessary, carefully remove the blade attachment or any other attachment used from the plastic container.

Handle

  •  Wipe clean the handle with a slightly damp, soft cloth.

Accessories

  1. The blade attachment or any other attachment used should be rinsed in warm water after each use.
  2. The whisk, stirrer, container lid, blade attachment and plastic container should be cleaned in mild washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
  3. Wipe all parts with a dry cloth, if necessary.

Storage

  • Clean all parts according to the instructions above.
  • The device and its accessories must be kept out of reach of children in a clean, dry and frost-free place.
  • If possible, use the original packaging to store the device in order to protect it from exposure to dust and splashing water.
  • If you are not going to use the device for a long time, make sure you fully charge the battery to avoid deep discharge (repeat the procedure every 3 months, if necessary).

At the end of its life, the product must be disposed of in an appropriate way.

Standard and rechargeable batteries should not be disposed of along with household waste
All batteries and rechargeable batteries must be brought to a local or district collection point or to the retailer.
Such batteries and rechargeable batteries can thus be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
Attention!
This device contains a battery that is permanently installed for safety reasons and cannot be removed without destroying the housing. Improper dismantling entails a safety risk.
