CONNECT AND USE

  1. Charge your JOY SPEAKER for a least 10 minutes before use.
  2. Hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on. The LED will flash white and the speaker is ready to pair.
  3. Select “Happy Plugs Joy Speaker” on your phone/device to pair. Your speaker is now ready to use.

DISCONNECT A DEVICE

  1. When the speaker is connected to a device double press the power button to disconnect.

The speaker is now disconnected and ready to pair to a new device. Just follow the “Connect and use” steps.

STEREO SPEAKER MODE

  1. Turn both speaker on, press and hold the play button on one of the speakers until you hear a sound.
  2. Check the indicator lights. Main speaker (left channel) will have a flashing light, unless its connected to your phone/device. The other (right channel) a solid light.

To disable stereo mode, press and hold the play button on one of the speakers for 2 seconds until you hear a sound.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The speaker doesn’t turn on?
Charge your speaker.
The speaker doesn’t turn off or respond?
Hold power button for 8 seconds to reset the speaker and turn it off.
I can’t connect to the speaker?
Disconnect other connected devices and try again.

WARRANTY & SAFETY

LISTEN RESPONSIBLY
Noise levels are measured in decibels (dB). Exposure to any noise at or above 85 dB can cause gradual hearing loss.
USE RESPONSIBLY
Do not use the speaker when it’s unsafe to do so such as while operating a vehicle, crossing streets, or during any activity or in an environment where your full attention to your surroundings is required.
To protect battery lifespan, fully charge at least once every 3 months. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions.
When using an external adapter, the output voltage/current of the external adapter should not exceed 5V/1A.
SAFETY NOTICE
Do not expose the speaker to liquids without removing cable connection.
Do not expose it to water while charging. It may result in permanent damage to the speaker or power source. After a liquid spill or rinse, do not charge your speaker until it’s completely dry and clean. Charging when wet might damage your speaker or power source.
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or similar.
