Quick Start

How To Get Started With JOY

Quickstart

1. Charge

Before pairing Happy Plugs JOY to your Bluetooth enabled device, make sure the JOY charging case has been charged for at least ten (10) minutes with the earbuds inside.

2. Pair the Earbuds

Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.

Happy Plugs JOY is now ready to be connected to your Bluetooth device.

3. Activate Bluetooth

Go into your device settings and enable Bluetooth. You should find “Happy Plugs – Joy” in the list of available devices.

Pro tip: If your device cannot find your Hope headphones, try repeating the steps above. If still not working, you might need to perform a factory reset. Please refer to Happy Plugs Joy – How to Reset on how to reset.

CONNECT AND USE

1. Charge your JOY for a least 10 minutes before use.
2. Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.
3. Select “Happy Plugs – Joy” on your phone/device to pair. Your earbuds are now ready to use.

RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS

Delete “Happy Plugs – Joy” from your Bluetooth devices list.
Make sure the charge case is charged. Put the earbuds in the charge case.
With the lid of the charge case open, press and hold the button on the bottom of the charge case for 6 seconds until LED flash 6 times.

The earbuds are now reset and ready to pair to your device. Just follow the “Connect and use” steps.

CALLS

When using the JOY for phone calls, both earbuds are active.

**If you wish to use only one earbud during a phone call, please put the other earbud into the charge case and close the lid.

How to Reset

1. Prepare

If you have connected Happy Plugs JOY to your phone or tablet before, go ahead and delete them now from the Bluetooth Settings. Also make sure the JOY charging case has been charged.

2. Perform Factory Reset

Place the earbuds in the charging case. With the lid of the charge case open, press and hold the button on the bottom of the charge case for six (6) seconds until the LED flash six (6) times.

Happy Plugs JOY is now reset and ready to pair to your device.

3. Pair the Earbuds

Visit Happy Plugs Joy – Quickstart for full pairing instructions.

Charge your JOY for a least 10 minutes before use.
Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.
Select “Happy Plugs – Joy” on your phone/device to pair.

Your Happy Plugs JOY is now connected to your Bluetooth device and ready to use.

Multiple Devices

You can pair the Happy Plugs JOY with up to four (4) different Bluetooth devices. The earphones stores and remembers these pairings. However, you can only be connected to one device at a time, e.g. play music from one Bluetooth device.

To change from one Bluetooth device to another, disconnect the current Bluetooth connection by switching off Bluetooth at the current device and connect to your second Bluetooth device by selecting the “Happy Plugs – Joy” product entry in the Bluetooth menu.

When you remove your Happy Plugs JOY from the charge case it will automatically connect to the last device you were connected to.

Happy Plugs JOY True Wireless Headphones are compatible with any device equipped with Bluetooth – that includes Apple products, as well as Android based devices.

JOY supports Bluetooth 5.2 connection and below.

Don’t forget to activate Bluetooth on your device.
