Quick Start

This guide helps you get started with Air 1 ANC.

Happy Plugs Air 1 ANC

1. Charge

Before pairing Air 1 ANC to your bluetooth enabled device, make sure the Air 1 ANC charging case has been charged for a couple of minutes.

2. Pair the Earbuds

Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.

Air 1 ANC is now ready to be connected to your bluetooth device.

3. Activate Bluetooth

Go into your device settings and enable Bluetooth. You should find Air 1 ANC in the list of available devices.

Pro tip: If your device cannot find your Air 1 ANC headphones, try repeating the steps above. If still not working, you might need to perform a factory reset. Please refer to this guide on how to reset.

CONNECT AND USE

1. Charge your Air 1 ANC for a least 3 minutes before use.
2. Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.
3. Select “Air 1 ANC” on your phone/device to pair. Your earbuds are now ready to use.

The touch controls only work when the earbuds are placed inside the ears due to the proximity sensor.

PAIR TO ADDITIONAL DEVICES

1. With the lid of the charge case open, press the button on the bottom of the charge case for 5 seconds until the LEDs light up in a rolling motion.
2. Select “Air 1 ANC” on your phone/device to pair. Your earbuds are now ready to use.

CALLS

When using the Air 1 ANC for phone calls, both earbuds are active.
If you wish to use only one earbud during a phone call, please put the other earbud into the charge case and close the lid.

NOISE CANCELLATION / TRANSPARENCY

Your headphones have three modes to cycle through with ANC as the default mode.

ANC Mode (Active Noise Cancellation)
Reduce unwanted and disturbing sounds. Great for busy environments.

Transparency Mode
Let ambience sounds in. Great for awareness.

Basic Mode
Turn off ANC microphones and rely on silicone eartips for noise cancellation. Great for workouts.

How to Reset

1. Prepare

If you have connected Air 1 ANC to your phone or tablet before, go ahead and delete them now from the Bluetooth Settings. Also make sure the Air 1 ANC charging case has been charged for a couple of minutes.

2. Perform Factory Reset

Place the earbuds in the charging case. With the lid of the charge case open, press and hold the button on the bottom of the charge case for ten (10) seconds until all four (4) LEDs flash five (5) times.

Air 1 ANC is now reset.

3. Pair the Earbuds

Open the charge case and keep the earbuds in place to enter pairing mode.

Air 1 ANC is now ready to be connected to your bluetooth device.

Locate the Touch Sensors

Air 1 ANC features touch controls on the outside of the headphones. Press this area gently with your fingers to control music, calls and more. For the full overview of touch commands, see the list below:

Multiple devices

You can pair the Happy Plugs Air 1 products with up to eight different Bluetooth devices. The earphones stores and remembers these pairings. However, you can only be connected to one device at a time, e.g. play music from one Bluetooth device.

To change from one Bluetooth device to another, disconnect the current Bluetooth connection by switching off Bluetooth at the current device and connect to your second Bluetooth device by selecting the Happy Plugs Air 1 product entry in the Bluetooth menu.

When you remove your Happy Plugs Air 1 product from the charge case it will automatically connect to the last device you were connected to.

Air 1 ANC supports Bluetooth 5.0 connection and below.
