Installation

RS-232 Cable install
- Turn off the power supply
- Put the DB9 connector connection withthe device interface.
- If the device (The 9″ pin of serial)can not working, please connect the 5V power supply with cable.
- Turn on the power .if the buzzer and LED light release the signal, so the the device is working normal.
USB Cable install (put the cable insert the USB serial directly, The Computer
will detection and identification automatically
Accessories: Bracket install
- Use the bracket connector connect to the main body of bracket.
- Main body of bracket.
- Philip’s screw, Dimensions:M6* 10MM
- Base Support
- Direct wedged in the base of bracket when the head of bracket and main body connection well.
Installation
Getting Started
Turn off computer’s power before connecting the base.then power up the
computer once the base ts fully connected.when the base is connected and
powered up, put the scanner in the base to establisha link. All LED lights
expect the data one on means the device Is ready.the scanner must be return to
the base when not in use. Interface Choose

Added Prefix
First : Scan “Added Prefix” setup code (*This step will clear the previously set Prefix) Example: Need to added prefix MG, so scan the M,G by each.
Added Prefix
Second: Scan the needed increased character code (Max 32 characters Scan the ordinary barcode , will increase the Prefix MG Scan that above test Code ,will got the ‘MG TEST -
Added Suffix
First : Scan “Added Suffix” setup code (*this step will clear the previously set Suffix) Added Suffix
Second:Scan the increased character code (MAX 32 Characters)
Example:Needed added Suffix OK ,Scan the O,K by each Scan the ordinary barcode ,will increase the Suffix OK . Scan that above TEST Code,Will got the “TEST OK” -
Hide Before characters
First :Scan “Hide before character” setup code(*This step will clear the previously sets) Hide before character
Second:Scan the needed hidden pieces number(MAX 32 Characters)
Example: Needed hidden the front of 2 characters ,Scan the $02 setup code (16 hex) Scan the ordinary barcode , The front of 2 characters will be hidden. Scan that above TEST barcode ,will got the “38456789” -
Hide After Character
First:Scan “Hide after character” setup code(*This step will clear the previously sets Hide After character
Second :Scan the need to hidden pieces number(MAX 32 Characters)
Example: Needed hide the after 3 characters ,Scan the $03 setup code (16 hex) scan the ordinary barcode ,the back of 3 characters will be hidden scan that above TEST barcode ,will got the “987654”
