Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the Disposable Turbine is securely attached to the spirometer device.
- Take out a new Cardboard Mouthpiece from the packaging.
- Insert the Cardboard Mouthpiece into the Disposable Turbine, ensuring a snug fit.
- Instruct the patient to hold the Cardboard Mouthpiece firmly between their lips, creating a seal.
- Ask the patient to take a deep breath and then exhale forcefully into the Cardboard Mouthpiece.
- Repeat the test as required by the healthcare professional or according to the testing protocol.
- Dispose of the used Disposable Turbine and Cardboard Mouthpiece safely according to local regulations.

Intended use
The device is intended to convert airflow into a rotational movement for subsequent measurement of flow and volume inhaled/exhaled by the patient for spirometry testing. Use only with compatible spirometers; the list is available on the website www.spirometry.com.
Warnings
After opening the original pouch avoid dust, hair, sputum, threads to enter
the turbine. The presence of impurities may seriously compromise the accuracy
of the measurement. Avoid environmental contamination following the local
regulations.
Calibration
All FlowMIR® are individually checked to guarantee accuracy and do not require
calibration.
Caution:
Federal Law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician
(USA only). FlowMIR® may cause cross-contamination risks if re-used on more
than one patient.
