Product Information

The KOORUI Monitor is a high-definition display screen that offers various features for eye health. It has a low blue light mode that reduces blue light emission to protect the user’s eyes. User Settings:
Press any button (except the power button) to enter the menu. The power button can be short-pressed to power on the monitor or long-pressed for 3 seconds to shut it down. Other buttons on the monitor have specific functions described in the corresponding section.

Troubleshooting (FAQ):
If you encounter any issues with the KOORUI Monitor, refer to the following possible solutions:

  1. The power LED fails to be turned on: Check whether the monitor is powered on and if the power cord is properly connected.
  2. Plug-and-Play fails to be achieved: Check whether the PC is compatible with Plug-and-Play and if the 15-pin D-connector of the signal cable is bent.
  3. The image is dim: Adjust the brightness and contrast. Also, check for any electrical equipment nearby causing electronic interference.
  4. Jerkiness or moire occurs to the image: Check whether the PC is powered on, if the graphics card is installed properly, and if the signal cable is connected properly to the PC.Also, ensure that the signal cable connector of the monitor has no bent pins. Press [Caps Lock] on the PC keyboard to identify if the PC is operating.
  5. Some colors are missing (red/green/blue): Check the signal cable of the monitor for bent pins.
  6. The image is not centered or the image size is not appropriate: Press the hot key [E] to activate the AUTO function for automatic image adjustment.
  7. The image demonstrates chromatic aberration (white does not look white): Adjust the RGB color or select a different color temperature.
  8. The image/text is blurred in case of VGA signal: Press the hot key [E] to activate the automatic image adjustment function.
  9. There is color deviation under VGA signal: On the white output screen, select Auto Calibrate Color in the OSD menu to calibrate the color.

Suggestions for Eye Health
In order to avoid the possible eye fatigue and pains in the neck/arm/back/shoulder caused by long-time use of the Monitor, please keep the following suggestions in mind:

  1. Place the Monitor (screen) at a distance of 20~28 inches (about 50~70 cm) from your eyes;
  2. Increase the blinking frequency appropriately to keep your eyes moist when using the Monitor, and moisten your eyes after long-time use of the Monitor;
  3. Take a 20-minute break after two-hour use of the Monitor;
  4. Take frequent breaks: keep your eyes away from the Monitor and look at a distant target for 20 seconds or longer;
  5. During the break, stretch to soothe your neck, arms, back and shoulders.

Low blue light description
The wavelength of blue light is in the blue light band. This monitor has the function of reducing blue light emission. Can select the low blue light mode in the menu to protect your eyes (need the support of the monitor).

Troubleshooting (FAQ)

  • Install your wall mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the wall mount to surfaces other than plaster board, please contact your nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the product on a slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe personal injury. KOORUI wall mount kits contain a detailed installation manual and all parts necessary for assembly are provided.

  • Do not use screws that are longer than the standard length or do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications. Screws that are too long may cause damage to the inside of the product.

  • When installing the wall mount other than the specified product, its installation may be difficult.

  • For wall mounts that do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications, the length of the screws may differ depending on the wall mount specifications.

  • Do not fasten the screws too firmly. This may damage the product or cause the product to fall leading to personal injury. KOORUI is not liable for these kinds of accidents.

  • kOORUI is not liable for product damage or personal injury when a non-VESA or non-specified wall mount is used or the consumer fails to follow the product installation instructions.

  • Do not mount the product at more than a 15 degree tilt.

  • Standard dimensions for wall mount kits are shown in the table below.

  • Warning! Please refer the information on the exterior enclosure for electrical and safety information before installing or operating the apparatus.

  • Note: If you would like to connect an external device with this product, a good quality shielded cable must be used, which ensures the electromagnetic compatibility of the product and the used cable as a whole.

  • This product is only intended to be used as a monitor. For sound playback additional headphones or speakers, possibly with their own power supply, are required. Do not use the product for any other purpose than described in this manual in order to avoid any hazardous situation. Improper use is dangerous and will void any warranty claim.

  • The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the product.

  • Care should be taken so that no objects or liquids enter the enclosure through openings.

  • No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product.

  • Refer all servicing to an authorized service agent. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself. Servicing
    is required when the product has been damaged in any way, such as the supply cord or plug are damaged, liquid has been spilled, objects have fallen into the product, the enclosure is damaged, the product has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

  • Make sure to rest the AC/DC Adapter flat on a table or the floor. If you place the AC/DC Adapter so that it is hanging with the AC cord input facing upwards, water or other foreign substances could enter the Adapter and cause the Adapter to malfunction.

  • Before connecting the product to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the product corresponds to your local mains.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazard.

  • Regularly check if the supply cord, product or extension cable is defective. If found defective, do not put the product into operation. Immediately pull the plug.

  • Place the supply cord and, if necessary, an appropriate extension cable in such away that pulling or tripping over it is impossible. Do not allow the supply cord to hang down within easy reach.

  • Do not jam, bend or pull the supply cord over sharp edges.

  • The power plug is used as the disconnect device; the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. To completely disconnect the power input, disconnect the mains plug.

  • The product may not function properly or not react to the operation of any control due to electrostatic discharge. Switch off and disconnect the product; reconnect after a few seconds.

  • Protect the supply cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plug, convenience receptacles and the point where it exits from the product.

  • Never pull the plug by the supply cord or with wet hands.

  • Disconnect the power plug in case of faults during use, during lightening storms, before cleaning and when not using the product for a longer period of time.

  • Danger! Before cleaning, switch the product off and disconnect the power plug from the socket.

  • When the product has reached the end of its service life, make it defective by disconnecting the plug from the socket and cutting the cord in two.

  • The apparatus must be connected to an earthed MAINS socket-outlet (Class l Equipment only). Or Use only a properly grounded plug and receptacle (Class l Equipment only).

  • As long as this unit is connected to the AC wall outlet, it is not disconnected from the AC power source even if you turn off this unit by POWER.

This product is designed as a monitor only. For sound playback additional headphones or speakers, possibly with its own power supply, are required. The product is not intended for any commercial or industrial use. Do not use it for other purposes. Any other use might lead to damage of the product or personal injury. The KOORUI assumes no liability for damage to the product, for property damage or for personal injury due to careless or improper usage of the product, or usage of product which does not meet the manufacturer’s specified purpose.
