Steinbach Technikbox Pool Equipment Box
Product Information
The Technikbox is a storage box designed to store pool equipment. It comes with three side parts and bottom part, two front and back parts, one cover, and an operating manual. The box has dimensions of 910 mm x 680 mm x 830 mm and is model number 036600.
Product Usage Instructions
Preparing the Setup Location and Connections
To set up the Technikbox, you will need the following tools and materials:
- Drill with 45 mm or 75 mm hole saw
Follow these steps to prepare the setup location and connections:
- Ensure that there is at least one meter of distance between the pool and the Technikbox.
- Ensure that the ground where you will be placing the Technikbox is stable, level, water-resistant, and slip-resistant.
- Connect the water inlet and outlet to the Technikbox.
Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble the Technikbox:
- Attach the front and back parts (2x) together.
- Attach the side parts (3x) to the front and back parts.
- Attach the bottom part (3x) to the front part.
- Insert the cover (1x) on top of the Technikbox.
Cleaning
The Technikbox can be cleaned using a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners
or solvents as they may damage the product.
Disposal
Dispose of the packaging materials by separating them according to their
material type and recycling them accordingly. Dispose of the product according
to the guidelines and regulations set by your country.

These operating instructions are a part of this equipment box (hereinafter
called “product”). They contain important information about start-up and
operation.
Read the operating instructions and especially the safety instructions
carefully before using the product. Non-observance of this operating
instructions manual may lead to severe injuries or damage to the product.
Keep the operating instructions for further use. If you pass on the product to
a third party, you must pass on operating instructions as well.
Intended use
The equipment box exclusively intended for storing the pool equipment.
This product is exclusively intended for private use and not suited for the
commercial sector.
Only use the product as described in these operating instructions. Any other
use is considered inappropriate and may lead to material damage or even
injury. The product is not a toy.
The manufacturer or retailer will not assume any liability for damage caused
by inappropriate or incorrect use.
Foreseeable misuse
Never use the product as a step, diving board or starting block.

General safety instructions
Safety instructions for persons
WARNING!
Packaging materials pose a risk of suffocation!
Catching your head in the packaging foil or swallowing other packaging
materials can cause death. There is a higher risk for children and mentally
challenged persons who cannot estimate the hazard potential due to lack of
knowledge and experience.
- Prevent children and mentally challenged persons from playing with the packaging materials.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
In the case of excess strain, the product can cave in.
- The product is not meant to be used as a storage surface! Do not place any objects on the product.
- Never climb or sit on the product.
- Never let persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities (such as children or people under the influence of alcohol) or a lack of experience and knowledge unsupervised near the product.
- Never lift the loaded equipment box.
NOTICE!
Improper use of the product may cause it to become damaged.
- Never use the recessed handles on the side parts to carry the product. The recessed handles are only designed for opening the cover.
Description
The equipment box is ideal to keep your pool equipment clean. In the equipment box, your pool equipment is protected from exposure to weather and dirt. The lines to the pool equipment can be routed through the prepared outlets on the two side parts 3 .
Preparation
Preparing the setup location and the connections
The safest place to set up the equipment box is on a smooth, level concrete or
wooden floor.
The right selection and preparation of the setup location makes it much easier
to install the product. The following requirements must be met or considered:
- Water supply and discharge line
- At least one meter distance between the pool and the equipment box
- Stable, level, anti-slip surface that is resistant to water
Assembly
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Cutting tools can cause injuries.
- Always keep hands and feet away from the cutting tools, especially when turning on the motor.
Assembling the product
To assemble the equipment box, proceed as follows:
- Use a hole saw to drill the outlets for the lines into the side parts 3 . The predefined cutting guides are designed for a 45 mm or 75 mm hole saw.
- Insert the bottom part 3 into the front part 2 . Pay attention to the positioning of the recesses in the individual parts. The inside of the bottom part points down.
- Insert the two side parts into the front part. The recesses in the side parts are on the bottom.
- Insert the back part into the bottom part and into the two side parts. This will require some force. You will hear a dull sound when the back part snaps into place.
- Put on the cover 1 .
- Position the equipment box at the prepared setup location.
The equipment box is assembled.
Loading the equipment box
Observe the following when loading the equipment box:
- Read the operating instructions for the pool equipment before loading the equipment box.
- Guide the lines to the pool equipment through the recesses in both side parts.
The equipment box is loaded.
Cleaning
Only clean the product with a standard bathroom cleaner, clear tap water and a lint-free cloth. Aggressive cleaning agents can damage the product. Dry the product with a lint-free cloth.
Storage
Observe the operating instructions for the pool equipment.
After thorough cleaning and drying, store the product in a dry and frost-free
place (= +5 °C).
