SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read carefully and save for future use!

Warning: The safety measures and instructions, contained in this manual, do not include all conditions and situations possible. The user must understand that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be integrated into any product. Therefore, these factors shall be ensured by the user/s using and operating this appliance. We are not liable for damages caused during shipping, by incorrect use, voltage fluctuation or the modification or adjustment of any part of the appliance.

To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

  1. Never use the appliance if it is damaged. All servicing should be done by qualified service center!
  2. Do not expose the appliance to strong pressure, excessive humidity or high temperatures (for example near a heat source). Protect it against direct sunlight.
  3. The device should be located at a sufficient distance from other electrical devices with strong radiation.
  4. Use only original accessories provided by the manufacturer.
  5. Use the appliance only according to the instructions in this manual. The appliance is designed for domestic use only. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use.
  6. The device is not intended for medical purposes or for official weather reports.
  7. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with lower physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user should not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years and under supervision. Children under 8 years old must keep away from the appliance and its power supply
  • The principle of weather forecasting is based on changes in barometric pressure.
  • This device is used to display indoor and outdoor temperature and time, and as an alarm clock.

Do not immerse in water! – Do not immerse in water!

DANGER TO CHILDREN: Children must not play with the packaging material.
Do not let the children play with plastic bags. Risk of suffocation.

BEFORE FRST USE

Insert batteries (not included) into weather station and sensor. Observe correct battery polarity. Information on the type of batteries is given in the technical parameters of this manual.
The sensor is available under the designation: MS 1200.

OPERATION

Standard mode

  1. Hold down the “SET” button to go to the time setting.
  2. Press the “ALARM” button to turn on / off the alarm.
  3. Press and hold the “ALARM” button for 2 seconds to open the alarm setting.
  4. Press the “UP” button to change the 12h / 24h time display.
  5. Press the “DOWN” button to change the temperature display in °C / °F.
  6. Hold down the “DOWN” button for 2 seconds to start RCC reception.
  7. Press the “CH ” button to switch RF, CH1 channel → CH2 → CH3 → CH1.
  8. Hold down the “CH” button for 2 seconds to delete all data of the current “Channel”.
  9. If the ALARM sounds, you can extend the sleep time by 5 minutes by pressing the “SNZ” button.

Setting the time

  1. Hold down the “SET” button for 2 seconds to open the clock setting.
  2. The display flashes at a frequency of 1 Hz during setting.
  3. Setting the time; time zone → hours → minutes → year → month → day → language → end.
  4. Press the “SET” button to confirm the setting.
  5. One press of the “UP” button increases the value by 1 step; after holding down the button for 2 seconds it increases by 8 steps / seconds.
  6. One press of the “DOWN” button decreases the value by 1 step; after holding down the button for 2 seconds it decreases by 8 steps / seconds.
  7. The phases of the moon change according to the selected date during setting.
  8. If no button is used for 8 seconds, the system automatically exits the setting. The settings already made are saved.

Setting alarm

  1. Press and hold the “ALARM” button for 2 seconds to open the alarm setting.

  2. The display flashes at a frequency of 1 Hz during setting.

  3. Setting the alarm clock: hours → minutes → end.

  4. One press of the “UP” button increases the value by 1 step; after holding down the button for 2 seconds it increases by 8 steps / seconds.

  5. One press of the “DOWN” button decreases the value by 1 step; after holding down the button for 2 seconds, it decreases by 8 steps / seconds.

  6. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm the setting and move to the next item.

  7. If no button is used for 8 seconds, the system automatically exits the setting.

  8. Press the “ALARM” button to turn the alarm on and off.

  9. The BUZZER alarm sounds for 2 minutes as follows:
    • 0 – 10 s: one beep per second
    • 10 – 20 s: two beeps per second
    • 20 – 30 s: four beeps per second
    • after 30 s: beeps continuously

  10. You can press the “SNZ” button to start the snooze mode when alarm sounds, when the alarm sounds again after 5 minutes, you can leave the mode with any other button.

RCC reception function

Start RCC time reception

  • The device automatically starts receiving RCC time information 3 minutes after power on or reset.
  • Hold down the “DOWN” button for 2 seconds to forcibly start RCC reception.
  • Reception starts automatically every day

RCC automatic reception times: (OFFSET 0) at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, 5:00. RCC is received at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, if no information is received at 3:00, the device continues to try at 4:00 and 5:00; if the attempt was successful at 4:00, it will not be repeated, otherwise another will take place at 5:00. If even that fails, regardless of the reception status, further attempts are repeated the next day. The duration of receiving RCC information is 7 minutes.

Icon status during reception:

  1. When an attempt is made to receive an RCC, the tower portion of the RCC symbol icon on the LCD flashes at a frequency of 1 Hz.
  2. When an RCC signal is received, the tower part of the icon and the arched antenna symbol of the RCC symbol flash at a frequency of 1 Hz.
  3. If the signal is too weak to receive, the tower portion of the RCC symbol icon flashes at a frequency of 1 Hz and the arched antenna symbol does not appear.
  4. After a successful signal reception, the entire RCC icon lights up and the reception mode is exited.
  • While receiving a signal, you can cancel RCC reception by holding down the “DOWN” button for 2 seconds; other buttons do not work.
  • If the signal is not received, another attempt will be made at 2:00 the next day.
  • If an alarm is activated while receiving an RCC signal, the RCC reception status is canceled and the unit switches to alarm mode.
  • If DST is available and receiving a signal, the DST symbol will appear on the LCD display.
  • If the RCC symbols are displayed in full and the time is reset, the corresponding RCC icon goes out.

Start

  • When switched on and reset, the device displays the entire LCD display for 3 seconds→ after a beep it returns to normal state → checks the temperature and humidity → automatically goes to RCC reception → leaves it after 7 minutes → end.
  • The default weather icon is partly cloudy.
  • The default temperature unit is Celsius °C, the default time format is 24H, and the default RF channel is 1.
  • Default language: German

RF reception

  • After inserting the batteries, the temperature and humidity are measured and after 3 minutes, RF (wireless sensor) reception starts.
  • In normal display mode, hold down the “CH” button for 2 seconds to clear the channel information.
  • If no valid signal with the corresponding ID is received on the current channel for 60 minutes, the temperature of the current channel displays “–.-“.

Humidity and temperature function

  • Indoor temperature display range: 0 °C – +50 °C (32 °F – +122 °F)
  • Humidity range: 20% – 95%

Weather forecast function

  • The forecast icon shows the trend of change over the next 24 hours.
  • The forecast consists of 4 icons: sunny – partly cloudy – overcast – precipitation
  • Place the weather station in a place with natural ventilation; the forecast will be more accurate. When placed indoors, especially in air-conditioned rooms, the error rate increases.

Indication of temperature comfort and temperature trend.

  • If the difference between the current and saved temperature exceeds +1
    • C, the temperature trend shows an increase.
  • If the difference between the current and saved temperature exceeds -1
    • C, the temperature trend will decrease.

Thermal comfort indicator:

Dryness: Humidity below 40% at any temperature
Comfort: Temperature between 20-28 °C, humidity 40-70%
Humid: Humidity over 70% at any temperature
No indication: Temperature out of range 20-28 °C, humidity between 40-70%

WEATHER STATION MAINTENANCE

  1. Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or liquids.
  2. Avoid contact with corrosive substances.
  3. Do not expose the device to mechanical stress, dust or high humidity.
  4. Do not open the device or tamper with its parts.
  5. Use only the power adapter supplied with the device.
