Product Information
The APL1716MBK and APL2816MBK are ceiling light fixtures manufactured by Quoizel. These fixtures are designed for semi-flush and pendant installations respectively. The fixtures come with various components, including a ceiling canopy, rods, mounting hardware, a swivel, a stem, washers, nuts, a finial, a fixture body, a diffuser, a crossbar, wire connectors, and outlet box screws. The fixtures have a maximum recommended bulb wattage of 100W and use medium (E26) bulb bases.

Product Usage Instructions

Option 1: Semi-Flush Installation (APL1716MBK)

1. Set aside the swivel, (2) 6L Rods, and (2) 12L Rods as they are not required for the semi-flush installation.

2. Attach the Ceiling Canopy with Rod to the Fixture Body.

3. Install the Diffuser using the provided Flat Washers and Rubber Washers.

4. Install the Crossbar Assembly.

5. Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the power supply to the white wire from the fixture, and the black (or red) wire from the power supply to the black wire from the fixture.
   Connect the ground wires from the supply and fixture using the green ground screw.

6. Attach the Ceiling Canopy to the Crossbar Assembly.

7. Install two correct bulbs (not included) according to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. Recommended bulb type: TYPE A, Medium (E26) base, maximum 100W.

8. Restore electricity to complete the installation.

Option 2: Pendant Installation (APL2816MBK)

1. Install the Rods based on your ceiling height. For an 8 feet ceiling, use (2) 12L Rods. For a 9 feet ceiling, use (2) 6L Rods and (2) 12L Rods.

2. Install the Diffuser using the provided Flat Washers and Rubber Washers.

3. Separate the Rod from the Ceiling Canopy.

4. Attach the Swivel to the Ceiling Canopy.

5. Attach the Ceiling Canopy to the Upper Rod. Set aside the rod as it is not required for this installation.

6. Install the Crossbar Assembly.

7. Wire the fixture by connecting the white wire from the power supply to the white wire from the fixture, and the black (or red) wire from the power supply to the black wire from the fixture.
   Connect the ground wires from the supply and fixture using the green ground screw.

8. Attach the Ceiling Canopy to the Crossbar Assembly.

9. Install two correct bulbs (not included) according to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage. Recommended bulb type:
   TYPE A, Medium (E26) base, maximum 100W.

10. For angled ceilings, adjust the Swivel opening towards the wall at a 90-degree angle.

11. Restore electricity to complete the installation.

CAUTION

• If in doubt about electrical installation, consult a licensed electrician.
• Turn off electricity to fixture before replacing the bulb(s)

Wipe clean using soft, dry cloth or static duster. Always avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasives to clean fixture as they may damage the finish.

OPTION 2: PENDANT: APL2816MBK

1. Install Rods
   Optional Rods:
   8 Feet Ceiling: (2) 12″L Rods. 9 Feet Ceiling: (2) 6″L Rods + (2) 12″L Rods .

2. Install Diffuser
   Flat Washer Rubber Washer
   Rubber Washer Flat Washer

3. Separate Rod from Ceiling Canopy

4. Install Swivel to Ceiling Canopy

5. Install Ceiling Canopy to Upper Rod
   Set aside the rod since it is not required for this installation.

6. Install Crossbar Assembly

7. Wiring

8. Install Ceiling Canopy to Crossbar Assembly

9. Install Bulbs
   Install two correct bulbs referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.
   Recommended Bulb type (not included):
