Preparing for Order

Step Picture Description
1 **** Contact Panduit Sales for assistance with Cleat and hardware

selection.

| Measure actual diameter of the cables. Select a cleat part number based on the actual diameter of the cables.

| Measure height of the ladder rung. If using center securing bolt (Method 1), procure M10 or 3/8” hex bolts, washers, and nylon locknuts with sufficient length to pass through the ladder rung. Procure fastening M10 or 3/8” hex bolts based on the chart below. If using side bolts for both securing and fastening (Method 2), procure M10 or 3/8” hex bolts with sufficient length to pass through the ladder rung and the cleat with cables installed. Dock washers can be used to span the opening at the bottom of the rung if there is insufficient clearance between the flanges.

| Assemble M10 or 3/8” fastening bolts through the cleat base. Fully threaded bolts are shown but not required.
2| ****| Position cleat over the appropriate hole in the rung.

| Assemble M10 or 3/8” securing bolt through the hole in the bottom of the cleat. Tighten to 90 in-lbs [10.2Nm]. Skip to “Securing the Cable” section.

| Position cleat over the appropriate hole in the rung. Assemble M10 or 3/8” securing bolt through the holes in the bottom of the cleat. Fully threaded bolts are shown but not required. Continue to “Securing the Cables” section.

regular hex nut onto each
bolt until it bottoms out on
the bottom plastic shell.
This will hold the bolts in
place. Nuts do not need
to be removed before
assembly. Requires fully
threaded bolt. Continue
to “Securing the Cables”
section.

Securing the Cables

| Place cables in the opening between the fastening bolts, careful not to damage the cables on the bolts. Center securing bolt is not used if using Method 2.

| Assemble top of cleat on fastening bolts.

| Assemble washer and nylon locknut on fastening bolts. Tighten to 90 in-lbs [10.2Nm]. Ensure top remains level during tightening process.
