APPLICABILITY

Remote control notes

PREPARATION FOR USE

  • Remove all packing material, and remove the vacuum cleaner and accessories.
  • Remove any adhesive, stickers, or paper from the vacuum cleaner.

CHARGER STATION INSTALLATION

  1. Place the charging station on the floor. Make sure there is enough space on the sides of the base (at least 1 m) and in front of the base (at least 2 m). Don´t expose the charging dock to sunshine.
  2. Connect the adapter to the charging station and then to the wall outlet. (the indicator lights up D1).

VACUUM CLEANER USE

Insert the battery into the remote control, and observe the correct polarity (2 pieces, battery type AAA).

SWITCHING ON THE VACUUM CLEANER

  1. Press button C1 for approx. 3 seconds.
  2. First, you hear a beep of successful switching on the device (light signalization is on).

The vacuum cleaner can be also switched on by placing it in the charging station connected to the mains.
Until the vacuum cleaner is not switched on, it cannot be controlled by remote control

BATTERY CHARGING

  1. Check that the charging station is properly connected to the mains. (light D1 must be on).
  2. Position the device near the charging dock and press the C2 button on the device or F4 on the remote control. If the battery is too low, place directly and correctly the vacuum cleanerdirectly on the charging station.
  3. The vacuum cleaner can be charged even without a charging station. The power adapter can be plugged directly into the vacuum cleaner.

Notes

  • Standard charging time is 5-6 hours. A fully charged battery will work for approx. 100 minutes, depending on set functions.
  • The stated operating times are based on ETA‘s internal testing and only apply to a new and fully charged battery. Depending on the age and wear of the battery, the operating time decreases.
  • After cleaning, the vacuum cleaner will automatically search for the charging

WARNING

  • If the robot vacuum will not be used for more than 2 days, we recommend full charging of the device and its switching To do this, remove the device from the docking station (charging contacts will be disconnected) and switch off the device by pressing and holding button C1 for more than 3 seconds. START / STANDBY MODE Start (Cleaning)

Press C1/C3 on the control panel or F1/F3/F5/F6 buttons to start the device.

Standby mode (Pause)

Press the C1 button on the control panel or the F7/F1 button on the remote control to interrupt the ongoing cleaning and put the vacuum cleaner in standby mode. If the vacuum cleaner is stopped outside the charging station, it will switch off after five minutes of inactivity.

Note: The robot vacuum should start cleaning from the charging dock. Put the charging dock in a suitable place according to the instructions and do not change its location so that the robot vacuum can easily find it.

CLEANING MODES AND DEVICE FUNCTIONS WITHOUT USING THE ETA SMART APPLICATION

Manual operation
You can operate the device manually using the F2 direction buttons and clean only the areas where cleaning is necessary. Repeatedly press the F2 button to move the vacuum cleaner.

Automatic cleaning

Press the C1 button on the control panel or the F1 button F5 on the remote control. During cleaning, the vacuum cleaner moves gradually and systematically in the space. It divides the space into individual segments. As soon as the vacuum cleaner cleans the entire available space, it automatically searches for the charging station. This is the most used method of cleaning.

Local cleaning

Press and hold C3 on the control panel or F3 on the remote control. When cleaning, the vacuum cleaner moves in the space according to the programmed route. When cleaning has been completed, the device will return to the charging dock automatically. This cleaning mode is suitable for cleaning a small soiled area.

Edge mode
This mode is good for cleaning the edges and corners of a room. In edge- cleaning mode, the robot runs along a border (e.g. wall). Under this mode, the robot will go back to the charging base once the cleaning is finished. Click the button F6 on the remote control to start Edge mode

CAUTION: After pressing the A12 reset button, all parameters set using the ETA SMART application will be lost.

USING THE MOPING ATTACHMENT

  1. Attach the G2 mop to the lower part of the moping attachment correctly. Soak and wring the mop before use.
  2. Open the rubber stopper G1 and fill the mop attachment with water.
  3. Place the mop attachment in place in the vacuum cleaner. VACUUM CLEANER MAINTENANCE

Carry out maintenance and cleaning regularly, depending on the frequency of use and the amount of cleaning. In a more polluted environment (a pet household), more frequent maintenance will be required. Failure to carry out maintenance may damage the vacuum cleaner and its components!

CHARGING CONTACTS CLEANING

Switch off the vacuum cleaner and disconnect the charging station from the power supply! Clean the charging contacts (A3, D3) on the vacuum cleaner and the station with a soft dry cloth. Clean at least once a month. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or oils to clean the contacts.

DIRT TANK AND FILTERS CLEANING

Battery removing
Remove the 4 battery compartment cover screws at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. Remove the battery and unplug the connector. Remove the battery and unplug the connector. For unplugging the connector use more force for the advantage of overcoming the safety fuse against spontaneous disconnection.
