VACCUM CLEANER USE

Remark
The device has voice notification function which can be set in various languages (this function can be deactivated).

Insert the battery into the remote control, observe correct polarity (2 pieces, battery type AAA).
5.1 SWITCHING ON THE VACUUM CLEANER

  1. Press button C1 for approx. 3 seconds.
  2. First you hear voice message about loading of the system, then the message about successful switching on the device (light signalization is on).

Note
Factory setting of voice messages in Czech
5.2 BATTERY CHARGING

  1. Check that the charging station is properly connected to the mains. (light D1 must be on).
  2. Position the device near the charging dock and press C2 button on the device or F8 on the remote control. If the battery is too low, place directly and correctly the vacuum cleaner on the charging station.

Remarks
– Standard charging time is approx. 4-6 hours. Fully charged battery will work for approx. 230 minutes, depending on set functions.
– The stated operating times are based on ETA‘s internal testing and only apply to a new and fully charged battery. Depending on the age and wear of the battery, the operating time decreases.
– After cleaning, the vacuum cleaner will automatically search for the charging station.
– The “ETA SMART” application makes it easy to find out the battery status. The application can also be sent back to the charging station at any time.

WARNING
– If the robot vacuum will not be used for more than 2 days, we recommend full charging of the device and its switching off. To do this, remove the device from the docking station (charging contacts will be disconnected) and switch off  the device by pressing and holding button C1 for more than 3 seconds. Confirmation voice message about switching off will be issued. Then you can disconnect the charging station from the mains. Do not return the robot vacuum back to  the docking station! In this way, you prevent the battery of the device from being deeply discharged and avoid serious problems with putting the robot vacuum into operation in future and also unnecessary complaints.
– If the robot vacuum stops outside of the docking station or has been parked in the charging station disconnected from the mains, it will be switched to Sleep mode and after approx. 2 days, the battery will be completely discharged. As a  result, loss of battery´s electrical capacitance can occur (to less than 20%, or even to 0%). This condition is referred to as ‟undercharge“ and results in permanent damage of the battery.

5.3 START / STANDBY MODE
Start (Cleaning)
Press C1/C2 on the control panel or F1/F2/F6 buttons to start the device.
Standby mode (Pause)
Press the C1 button on the control panel or the F1 button on the remote control to interrupt the ongoing cleaning and put the vacuum cleaner in standby mode.
Notes
The robot vacuum must start cleaning from the charging dock. Put the charging dock on a suitable place in accordance with the instructions and do not change its location so that the robot vacuum can easily find it.

5.4 CLEANING MODES AND DEVICE FUNCTIONS WITHOUT USING THE ETA SMART APPLICATION
Manual operation
You can operate the device manually using F2 direction buttons and clean only the areas where cleaning is necessary.
Smart automatic cleaning
Press the C1 button on the control panel or the F1 button on the remote control. During cleaning, the vacuum cleaner moves gradually and systematically in the space according to the programmed route. It divides the space into individual segments. As soon as the vacuum cleaner cleans the entire available space, it automatically searches for the charging station. This is the most used method of cleaning.

Local cleaning
Press and hold C2 on the control panel or F6 on the remote control for approx. 3 seconds. When cleaning, the vacuum cleaner moves in the space according to the programmed route (square 1.8×1.8 m). When cleaning has been  completed, the device will return to the charging dock automatically. When cleaning is complete, the vacuum cleaner stops and goes into standby mode. This cleaning mode is suitable for cleaning a small soiled area.

Suction power level setting
You can switch over various suction power levels by pressing F3. Four levels are on choice.
Switching over dampening intensity levels
Use F7 button to switch over various dampening intensity levels.
Three levels are on choice. This function is only available with the mop unit G (see below).
Switching on/off light signalization
Use F5 button to switch on/off light signalization.
Switching on/off voice messages
Use F4 button to switch on/off voice messages.
Switching on/off UV disinfection
UV disinfection can be switched on/off using button F9.
Return to the charging station
In the Automatic cleaning and Routine cleaning modes, the vacuum cleaner has the function of automatic return to the charging station after the cleaning is completed. You can also send the device to the charging dock by pressing C2 on the control panel or F8 on the remote control.
System reset
Remove dirt container B (or, as the case may be, the mop unit G) and press A12 RESET button using a suitable tool.
CAUTION
After pressing A12 reset button, all parameters set using the ETA SMART application will be lost.

5.5 USING THE MOPING ATTACHMENT

  1. Attach the G9 mop to the lower part of the moping attachment correctly. Soak and wring the mop before use.

  2. Open the rubber stopper G2 and fill the mop attachment with water. Remove dirt container G6 before filling water.

  3. Insert dirt container G6 back into the mop unit.
Important warning: it is always necessary to place the assembled dirt suction tank G6 in the front part, when using the moping attachment G.
Failure to do so may result in damage to the product that is not covered by the warranty.

  4. Place the mop attachment in place in the vacuum cleaner.

  5. Switch on the device and select the required cleaning mode.

Notes
– When mopping, we recommend cleaning the individual rooms.
– Do not use/pour any detergent in the mop water tank.
– When mopping, check the vacuum cleaner and add water to the moping attachment, if necessary, or rinse the mop.
– Do not use the mop attachment on carpets and prevent the vacuum cleaner from hitting the carpet.
– Remove and clean the moping attachment after use. Do not leave it installed on the vacuum cleaner while charging.
