THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING GENARAY
The Mochi is a compact and fun on-camera mini RGB LED light you can pop onto your camera and add advanced lighting effects to any project you’re shooting. The Mochi’s simple interface lets you select operating modes and control color temperature, RGB, and brightness settings to match your subjects and add some color when you need it. Turn on one of the twenty-one lighting effects and dazzle your audience by adding realism and drama to your video. The built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery will give you nearly an hour and a half of run time at full power, which is plenty of time to get all the shots you need.

- Use with only the correct, recommended voltage.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair this product.
- Clean this product with only a soft, dry cloth.

MOUNTING THE LIGHT
MOUNTING TO A TRIPOD OR LIGHT STAND
Screw the Mochi onto a light stand’s 1/4-20 stud, and tighten until secure.
MOUNTING TO A CAMERA
- Screw the two washers onto the 1/4-20 stud so the flat surfaces face out away from each other.
- Slide the mounting foot completely into the camera’s mounting shoe. Tighten the bottom washer until it’s snug against the camera.
- Screw the Mochi onto the 1/4-20 stud. Then tighten the top washer until it’s snug against the light.
MAGNETIC MOUNTING
Use the built-in lightweight magnets to attach the light to a metal surface.
Note : This feature is best for mounting the light under a shelf or desk.
CHARGING THE MOCHI
Plug the USB-C connector into the Mochi, and plug the USB-A connector to a
powered USB port.
When it’s powered on, the battery indicator will show the battery’s power
level.
USER INTERFACE
ON-OFF / MODE SELECTOR
Turn the mode selector to turn the light on and choose one of the operating
modes: CCT, HSI, and EFF.
VALUE DIAL
In all operating modes, turn the value dial to change the selected onscreen parameter.
ADJUSTMENT SELECTOR
Press the adjustment selector to cycle through the adjustable parameters in each operating mode.
CCT MODE
CCT
Adjusts the color temperature from 2500 to 9900 K.
BRIGHTNESS
Adjusts the brightness from 1% to 100%.
HSI MODE
HUE
Adjusts the hue from 0° to 360° of the color wheel.
SATURATION
Controls the saturation of the hue from 0% to 100%.
BRIGHTNESS
Adjusts the brightness from 1% to 100%.
EFF MODE
Turn the selector to EFF mode. Press the effects selector button to cycle through the effects.
BRIGHTNESS
Adjusts the brightness from 1% to 100%.
EFFECTS
- Flash: Simulates multiple camera flashes with short bursts of white light.
- Fast: Similar to Flash, with short and rapid bursts of white light.
- TV Screen: Simulates the constant glow from a television.
- Candle: Simulates the warm light of a flickering candle with a constant color temperature and brief changes in brightness.
- Flame 1: Simulates the dim light of a campfire or fireplace with a constant color temperature and brief changes to brightness.
- Flame 2: Similar to Flame 1, with more rapid changes in brightness.
- Police: Simulates the flashing lights of an emergency vehicle with alternating red and blue strobing.
- Ambulance: Simulates the flashing blue light of an ambulance.
- Fire Truck: Simulates the flashing red light of a fire truck.
- Strobe 1: A constant white strobe light.
- Strobe 2: Similar to Strobe 1, with more rapid strobing.
- Strobe 3: More rapid strobing than Strobe 2.
- Chase Slow: Scrolls through the entire color wheel from 0% to 360% on a continuous loop.
- Chase Mid: Similar to Chase Slow, with a more rapid loop through the color wheel.
- Chase Fast: Similar to Chase Mid, with a more rapid loop through the color wheel.
- Firework 1: Simulates the light from a fireworks display with blue, red, and orange bursts with a fade.
- Firework 2: Similar to Firework 1 with blue, red, green, and orange bursts with more rapid color changes and fade.
- Firework 3: Simulates fireworks with alternating flashing red light and solid white light.
- Club 1: Simulates rapidly strobing disco lights of different colors.
- Club 2: Simulates disco lights with alternating colors.
- Romantic: Slowly pulsating magenta light.

This Gena ray product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from
defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of
one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after
replacement, whichever occurs later. Gena ray’s responsibility with respect to
this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at
Gena ray’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this
product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability
of the product or part(s) shall be determined by Gena ray. If the product has
been discontinued, Gena ray reserves the right to replace it with a model of
equivalent quality and function.
This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect,
accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS
PROVIDED HEREIN, GENARAY MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides
you with specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that
vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Gena ray Customer Service Department
to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the
defective product to Gena ray along with the RMA number and proof of purchase.
Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
