Product Usage Instructions

  3. To adjust the sensitivity of the mouse, change the DPI rate. The LEDs on the mouse indicate the DPI setting: 1 LED = 1000 dpi, 2 LEDs = 2000 dpi, 3 LEDs = 3000 dpi, 4 LEDs = 5000 dpi.
  4. To change the light effect of the mouse, press the designated button. The light effect will change with each press.
  5. Install the CHERRY gaming software for more advanced customization options. Download the latest software for free from the provided web link. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. After installation, pressing the CHERRY button for 3 seconds will launch the software.
  6. Make sure to use the mouse on a light-colored, textured surface for optimal performance. Avoid using it on reflective surfaces.
  7. To clean the mouse, first, switch off your PC or laptop or unplug the USB mouse. Then, clean the mouse with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Dry the mouse with a soft, lint-free cloth.

RSI arises due to small movements continuously repeated over a long period of time.

  • Set up your workspace ergonomically.
  • Take several short breaks, with stretching exercises if necessary.

Connecting the mouse

Insert the USB plug into any USB socket of your PC/laptop.

Setting the sensitivity of the mouse (DPI rate)

  • For precise work you can change the resolution of the mouse sensor. The speed of the mouse pointer increases with the level of the DPI rate.
    Press the CHERRY key .

  • The LEDs glow according to the setting:

    • 1 LED = 1000 dpi, 2 LEDs = 2000 dpi,
    • 3 LEDs = 3000 dpi, 4 LEDs = 5000 dpi.
  • You can set the DPI rate freely with the CHERRY gaming software (see 5 “Installing the CHERRY gaming software”).

Changing the light effect

  • Simultaneously press the “Browser forward” and “Browser back” buttons on the left hand side of the mouse.
  • The light effect changes each time you press.

Installing the CHERRY gaming software

  • With the CHERRY gaming software, you can adjust the light effects, set any DPI rate, change the polling rate of the sensor and assign macros to the keys.

  • The CHERRY gaming software is intuitive to operate and includes a help function. You can also contact our support if you need.

    2. Download the free software from: www.cherry-world.com or www.cherry.de.

    3. Press and hold the CHERRY key for 3 seconds to open the web link for installing the CHERRY gaming software.

  • Follow the instructions on the screen.
    If you press the CHERRY button for 3 seconds after installation, the software starts.

Surface under the mouse

  • The mouse is most effective on a light-colored, textured surface, which saves energy and ensures optimal motion detection.
  • A reflective surface is not suitable for using the mouse on.

Cleaning the mouse

  1.  Switch off the PC/laptop or pull out the USB mouse plug.
    NOTICE: Damage due to aggressive cleaning agents or liquid in the mouse

    • Do not use solvents such as benzene, alcohol, scouring agents or abrasive scourers for cleaning the mouse.
    • Prevent any liquid from getting inside the mouse.
  2. Clean the mouse with a slightly damp cloth and some mild detergent (such as washing-up liquid).

  3. Dry the mouse with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Device disposal

  • Do not dispose of devices with this symbol in household waste.
  • Dispose of the devices in accordance with statutory regulations – at your local dealer or at municipal recycling centers.
