CHARACTERISTICS

USE

This reel is made of high-quality materials and qualified spare parts, driven and released by the swirled spring, which can rewind the hose automatically. The length of air hose ranges from 0-9.5m, can be 180°swiveled, enlarge the range of usage. If fitted with different kinds of brackets, it is convenient to be installed for use in different places.

INSTALLATION

1. This reel is suitable for installing near source of air. For a large area, please place it in the center of a yard or work area, and then you can enlarge its cover area freely. Also you can extend the hose to the most convenient point in this area.
2. The mounting bracket can be installed to a brick wall. There are many alternative positions in which the unit can be placed. The key point is subject to what is convenient for the user.
   • The most appropriate position is to mount it on a wall or post horizontally. Approximately 1m above the ground.

• Otherwise, the reel can use vertically when you hang in an overhead suitable beam or rafter.

• The wall mounting bracket consists of three parts; the two fasteners and bracket. Use the attached two fasteners to affix the brackets. The mounting bracket has two holes, To the two holes on both ends there is a M8 screw corresponds. Each screw must be with spring washer or padding, ensure all parts are locked in position.

• A quick hook is attached for your option, use this, you can very convenient to fix it to the wall or other object.

3. Screw the attached plug of coupler (3) to the inlet connecter; inset the socket of coupler (4) from the source of air to the plug of coupler.

IMPORTANT

The reel has a high quality kink resistant hose supplied.

• After usage, please turn off the water or air. In some areas of high temperatures and high water pressure, the sunlight will heat the water and damage the hose, which will cause the hose to be difficult to rewind.
• It is the best way to turn off the water or air before retracting the hose.
• Do not leave the reel in the outside during very low temperature. Under this condition, the hose may be less flexible and difficult to retract.
• Do not touch any chemical or substance, such as acetone, white spirits, lactic acid…
• Please note the hose of the reel can’t be used for drinkable water except additional indication.

LATCH/RETRACT HOSE

This reel is fitted with ratchet wheel and detent design, which is easy to extend and retract the hose. When pulling out the hose, you can hear repeated “KADA” voice. When you pull out the hose length needed and hear “KADA” voice, you can latch it. When you retract the hose, pull out and no ”KADA” voice, you can retract the hose now. To retract, it is suggested that a minimum of 25% of the hose has been extended. During retraction, always hold the hose and follow the retraction until it is finished. To prevent hurting person accidentally or fraying the hose result from quick speed, extend the hose to full length then allow retracting, so to smooth the hose, let it evenly retract back to the reel.

MAINTENANCE

• Do not immerse the reel in water to clean. If hose is very dirty, please clean it before retraction.
• The way is to mount the reel in a sheltered position to prolong its life. The metal parts will deteriorate and rust in exposed positions. Also the polypropylene parts will be affected when exposed outside. Particularly under sunlight, this will affect the life of the reel housing and retracting wheel.

• Do not use the reels at higher pressures or temperatures than listed on the specification of this manual.
• Remove all spring tension before beginning disassembly process. Extensive repairs should be performed only by an quthorized serviceman or factory to avoid damage.
• Hose reel spring are factory lubricated and require no father lubrication.
