Product Information
The CL-TP16C is a 16′ Color Chasing LED Tape Light that can be controlled using a remote control. It is linkable up to 54′ and designed for use with the CL-LTPA-18RGBCEXT. The package includes various components such as the tape light, adapter, dimmer, remote control, whip connector, rubber mounting clips, and screws. Product Usage Instructions
Care Instructions:
To ensure the longevity of your product, periodic cleaning is essential.
Follow these steps:
- Turn off the product.
- Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth to clean the product. Do not use
solvents or harsh cleaning agents.
Troubleshooting:
If the light does not come on, follow these steps:
- Check if the wall switch and circuit breaker are turned on.
- Ensure that the adapter, connectors, and power plug are properly connected.
Assembly Instructions:
- Measure: Lay out the installation before removing the adhesive. Ensure that the mounting surface is clean and free of debris or residue.
- If Cutting: Make sure the power is off. Use sharp scissors to cut the tape light at the copper pads along the marked line. Only cut where the scissor icon is shown to avoid damaging the product and voiding the warranty.
- Connect: Remove a small part of the backing at each end of the cut marks. Open the two tabs on the connector. Insert the end of the tape light and ensure the copper pads are completely inserted into the connector, aligning the + symbols. Repeat on the other side and close the tabs to secure the connection.
- Mount: Remove the backing to expose the adhesive tape. Place the tape light in the desired location. For additional support, use the provided rubber mounting clips and screws.
- Connect: Plug the power plug into the adapter, ensuring that the arrows line up. Then connect the adapter to the tape light.
- Plug the power into a wall socket. Your tape light and remote control are now ready to use.

This tape light must be installed in a dry, open location only.

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire, do not install more than 2 tape lights in spaces smaller than 12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches.

Use only insulated staples or plastic ties to secure power cord.

Not intended for recessed installation in ceilings, or recessed soffits.
The National Electrical Code (NEC) does not permit cords to be concealed where damage to insulation may go unnoticed. To prevent fire danger, do not run cord behind walls, ceilings, soffits, or cabinets where it may be inaccessible for examination. Cords should be visually examined periodically and immediately replaced when any damage is noted. This product is not a toy. Do not store or leave this tape light in a location accessible to young children. -
Do not install this tape light near or in heat-producing appliances.

- Ensure NOT to exceed the above maximum total length.
- If this unit is installed in an outdoor location, the power plug (BB) and adapter (CC) must be fully covered by an certified outdoor covering for use in for a wet location.
CAUTION
- Remove batteries from the remote control (DD) to prevent product damage when the product is not used for a long period of time.
- Batteries must be inserted in the correct position.
- Do not throw batteries into fire or expose them to excess heat.
- This tape light includes an adapter that is only designed for this product
PREPARATION
- Before beginning assembly, installation or operation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble, install or operate the products. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
- Tools required for assembly (not included):

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

MEASURE: Lay out the installation prior to removing the adhesive. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of any debris or residue.

IF CUTTING: First, ensure the power is off. Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the tape light (AA) at the copper pads along the line (Fig 1). ONLY cut where the scissor icon is showing. Cutting it in any other area will damage the product and void the warranty.

CONNECT: At each end of the cut marks, remove a small part of the backing to expose the adhesive tape. Open the two tabs on the connector (EE). Insert the end of the tape light (AA) and ensure the copper pads are completely inserted into the connector (EE) and that the “+” symbols align. Repeat on the other side. Close the two tabs making sure the metal spikes pierce through the gel side of the tape light and secure completely. (Fig 2).
CONNECTOR (EE):
For areas where no light is required or when rounding a corner.
Important Note: When connecting the tapes, ensure the “+” signs are matching with each other. -
MOUNT: Remove the backing to expose the adhesive tape (Fig 3). Place in the desired location. To obtain optimum adhesion, ensure the surface is clean. Rubber Mounting Clips (FF) and Screws (GG) are also provided for additional support (Fig 4).

CONNECT: Connect the power plug (BB) into the Adapter (CC). Then connect the Adapter (CC) to the tape light (AA) making sure the arrows line up (Fig 5).
Plug the power into the wall socket. Your tape light and remote are now ready
to use.
To use the Remote Control (DD) make sure you are no more than 25 feet away
from the Adapter (CC). See Fig 6 on Page 4 for remote features.
REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

A. Power – Toggles On/Off

B. CCT Selection: Warm White, Cool White

C. Brightness: Increase + / Decrease –

D. Changes the light to white: Press and hold the (C) Arrow Up or Arrow Down to decrease or increase the area on the tape light that will be lit up.

E. Green Button – light will chase left, keep pushing the button and it will add colors depending on what mode you have selected (CS, C36, C7, C16).
Blue button – light will chase right, keep pushing the blue button and it will add colors denendina on the mode vou have selected is 03 07 016) -
F. Auto Mode – Automatically cycles through color changing settings

G. See following: CS – Cycle through 8 solid color settings C3 – 3 color arrangements C7 – 7 color arrangements C16 – 16 color arrangements

H. Flash – Slow cycle through select color with lights on and off – left/right (used with GS, C3, C7, C16)

I. Pulse light through all colors

TROUBLE SHOOTING:
- The light does not come on:
- Make sure the wall switch and circuit breaker are on
- Check the connections for the adapter, connectors and power plug to ensure they are properly connected
EYES:
- DO NOT look directly at the LED lights.
- DO NOT remove the LED lights protective covering.
WARRANTY
This product has a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This guarantees against failure due to factory defects, whether caused by materials or workmanship. The warranty is non-transferable and only pertains to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for any repair or replacement, so please keep your proof of purchase receipt. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage due to misuse. Misuse of this product includes but is not limited to:
- Using outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Opening the product’s housing.
- Any attempts to update, remodel or fix the unit yourself.
