WARNING:
- Your motion light is not a toy. Keep it out of reach from small children.
- Your motion light must be installed outdoors. Direct sunlight is needed for light to operate properly.
- If using a step ladder, you may require a second person to help install the solar motion light.
- Prior to installation, lay out all components and check against the part list section in this manual.
- Never look directly into the solar motion light when illuminated.
PRE-INSTALLATION
- Before assembly compare package contents with list to make sure all parts are present.
- If removing an existing fixture, shut off power at circuit break before removal. If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, it is recommended to have a qualified electrician complete your installation.
- Select suitable location that can support the weight of the fixture.
Determine mounting method .
HARDWARE
Please read these instructions thoroughly prior to installation, then store in a safe place for future reference.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
When replacing the battery, be sure to:
- Use rechargeable battery only. Battery specification is Li-ion 3.7V 1800 mAh, 1pc is required.
- Match the replacement battery specifications with the battery that have been removed.
- Observe the correct polarity (+ and -) when installing the replacement battery.
- IMPORTANT: Dispose of the Lithium ion battery in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
- The solar motion light should be cleaned with a damp cotton cloth on a regular basis. This will ensure optimal performance and battery charging.
- Never let any abrasive material come into contact with the light.
- Your fixture is made from quality materials that will last many years with minimal care. You may want to periodically clean the surface of the fixture.
- Use a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner. Do not use any solvents or harsh cleaning agents.
- Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
- When cleaning, make sure that the power is off. Do not spray liquid cleaner directly onto LED’s driver, or wiring.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: Recommended Tools: Power Drill, Phillips Screwdriver
- Use a power drill (not included) two 1/4 drill holes on the chosen surface. Fasten the motion light onto the wall with 2 wall plugs & 2 screws.
- Installation is completed.
IMPORTANT TIP:
Ensure your motion light is placed where exposes to optimized sunlight.
Be aware of objects such as trees or property overhangs that may impede the
panel’s ability to generate a charge.
RECOMMENDED INSTALL HEIGHT
- 8-10 feet above the ground.
- At such a height, the motion sensor will provide detection distance of up to 40’.
- The motion sensor is the most sensitive as a person or object moves parallel to the sensor head.
- The motion sensor is the least sensitive if a person or object moves directly at the sensor head.
PLEASE NOTE
- The maximum detection distance is 40’. The maximum distance can change based on the ambient temperature and relative humidity (Maximum distance is based on an ambient temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit and relative humidity between 30%-80%).
- Do not mount the fixture near a heat source like an air conditioner, vent or furnace exhaust, or in a direction facing and reflective object or nearby light source.
EYES:
- DO NOT look directly at the LED lights.
- DO NOT remove the LED lights protective covering.
This product has a two-year warranty from the date of purchase. This
guarantees against failure due to factory defects, whether caused by materials
or workmanship. The warranty is non-transferable and only pertains to the
original purchaser. Proof of purchase is required for any repair or
replacement, so please keep your proof of purchase receipt. This warranty does
not cover normal wear and tear or damage due to misuse.
Misuse of this product includes but is not limited to:
- Using outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Opening the product’s housing.
- Any attempts to update, remodel or fix the unit yourself.
