Product Information

The Rokid Station is a device that is used in conjunction with Rokid AR glasses. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, a Micro HDMI to Type-C cable, and a user manual. The Rokid Station features various buttons including direction keys, an OK key, a home key, a back key, an apps key, a setting key, a power key, and a volume key. It also has a USB-C port, a micro HDMI port, a status indicator, and a battery indicator.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Connecting to Rokid AR glasses: Connect the Rokid Station to your Rokid AR glasses using the Micro HDMI to USB-C cable.
  2. Powering on/off the device: Press the power key for 2 seconds to turn on the Rokid Station. Press and hold the power key for 1.5 seconds to access the Sleep, Shut Down, and Restart menus. Press and hold the power key for 3.5 seconds to turn off the Rokid Station. Press and hold the power key for 8 seconds to force the Rokid Station to turn off. Press the power key to turn on or turn off the screen of the glasses.
  3. Putting the Rokid Station into sleep mode: Disconnect the Rokid Station from the glasses when it is in the on state. The Rokid Station will automatically go into sleep mode. Alternatively, press the power key for 1.5 seconds to access the menus and select a menu to put the Rokid Station to sleep. You can also turn off the screen of the glasses, and after it is turned off for 55 seconds, the Rokid Station will enter sleep mode automatically. If no operation is performed within 5 minutes, the Rokid Station will go to sleep.
  4. Viewing the battery level: In the off state, press the power key to view the battery level. All battery level indicators will turn on one by one. If the Rokid Station cannot power on again due to a low battery level, the first battery level indicator will flash twice after pressing the power key.
  5. Battery charging: During charging, the charging completion indicator remains solid, and the battery level indicator blinks. When charging is complete, all battery level indicators turn solid. Quick Guide

Connect to your Rokid AR glasses

  • Connect Rokid Station to your Rokid AR glasses using the Micro HDMI to USB-C cable.

  • Insert one side of the cable into the USB-C port of the glasses.

  • Insert the other side of the cable into the Micro HDMI port of Rokid Station.

Power key

  • Press the Power key for 2 seconds to turn on the device.
  • Press and hold the Power key for 1.5 seconds. The Sleep, Shut Down, and Restart menus appear.
  • Press and hold the Power key for 3.5 seconds to turn off Rokid Station. Press and hold the Power key for 8 seconds. This will force Rokid Station to turn off.
  • Press the Power key to turn on or turn off the screen of the glasses.

Adjust Volume
Press the Volume + or Volume – key to increase or reduce the volume

Wake up
When Rokid Station is in sleep mode, press the Power key to wake it up.

Sleep

  1. In on state, disconnect Rokid Station from the glasses. Rokid Station goes into sleep mode automatically.
  2. Press the Power key for 1.5 seconds. The menus appear. You can select a menu to make Rokid Station sleep.
  3. Press the Power key to turn off the screen of the glasses. After the screen is turned off for 55 seconds, Rokid Station will enter sleep mode automatically.
  4. Rokid Station goes to sleep if you do not perform any operation within 5 minutes.

Battery Indicator
Charging Status:
During charging, the charging completion indicator remains solid, and the battery level indicator keeps blinking. When charging is complete, all battery level indicators turn solid.

View the Battery Level

  • In off state, press the Power key. All battery level indicators turn on one by one.
  • In off state, if Rokid Station cannot power on again due to a low battery level, the first battery level indicator flashes twice after you press the Power key.

Status Indicator

  • Solid blue: indicates the working mode.
  • Blinking blue: indicates the loading status.
  • Solid orange: indicates the sleep status.

Safety Precautions

  1. Keep your device dry. Do not use your device in a dusty, dirty, damp, or high-salinity location (such as the seaside). Improper use of your device may result in electronic circuit failures.
  2. Do not use your device during a thunderstorm. Thunderstorms can cause the malfunction of your device or increase the likelihood of electrical shock.
  3. Use your device at its normal operating temperature ranging from 0°C to +35°C. Store your device and accessories in a place where the temperature is between -10°C and +50°C. Low- or high-temperature conditions might cause the malfunction of your device.
  4. Charge your device only with the cable that came with your device.
  5. If you want to charge your device by connecting a USB -C port, make sure that the port has the USB-C symbol and that its performance complies with the specifications for USB-C ports.
  6. Protect your device from high temperatures or getting close to heating equipment, such as strong sunlight, space heaters, microwave ovens, water heaters or ovens. If your device overheats, it may cause the battery to explode.
  7. Do not disassemble or modify, attempt to insert foreign objects into your device, or immerse or expose it to water or other liquids. This may result in a short circuit, battery leakage or overheating, and thus increase the risk of a fire or explosion.
  8. Do not dispose of your device in fire. Doing so can cause fire or explosion.
  9. Dispose of your device in accordance with local regulations, and treat it separately from household waste. Improper disposal may result in an explosion. Therefore, you must comply with the local waste handling and recycling policies on the disposal of this device and its accessories.
  10. Do not allow children or pets to bite or chew on your device. Doing so may result in damages or explosion.
  11. Do not drop, squeeze or pierce your device. Excessive external pressure may damage your device or cause failures, short circuits, and even fire or explosion.
  12. Do not use unauthorized or incompatible adapters, power supplies or batteries. This may catch fire or cause other dangers.
  13. The device and its accessories may contain small components. Keep them out of the reach of children, who may damage them inadvertently or swallow these small components, which may lead to dangers such as choking.
  14. The device is equipped with a non-removable built-in battery. To avoid damaging the battery or the device, do not change the battery by yourself.
  15. Do not use the device at high volume for a long time to avoid hearing damage.
  16. Do not use this device while driving.
  17. Using unofficial channels to upgrade your device’s firmware, system, or download applications may result in the device being unusable or disclosing your personal information, so it is recommended that you use designated channels to upgrade.

Special Notes

Due to some unique physical and chemical properties of lithium-ion battery materials, lithium batteries have gradually reduced capacity over time. In addition, the increasing number of charge and discharge cycles can lead to the capacity attenuation of lithium batteries.

  1. We provide customers with one year warranty for the complete set from the date of purchase.
    For the products with quality defects, we will provide after-sales service of 15-day replacement from the date of purchase.

  2. Please note that any of the following conditions is not covered by the warranty:

  4. Damages due to failure to use, maintain or store the product in accordance with the instructions.

  5. Damages due to unauthorized disassembly.

  6. Invalid warranty certificate and invoice (except when evidence available can prove that the product is within the warranty period).

  7. Alteration of the warranty certificate without authorization.

  8. Mismatching of product model or number indicated on the warranty certificate with the claimed product.
