HOW TO OPERATE

  1. Insert batteries: Insert two ‘AAA’ batteries in the battery compartment at the rear of the unit with the correct polarity. (see below)
  2. Check display: In normal conditions, the dual read should immediately appear; if however, the temperature or humidity display is blank, remove the batteries and re-insert them again. This should reset the display.
  3. Adjust ºC/ºF: Move the switch to the preferred temperature unit readings.
  4. Change batteries: When the displays appear to be fuzzy or dim, the batteries need to be replaced.

NOTE: Please recycle or dispose of batteries per local regulations.
WARNING: Batteries may pose a choking hazard. As with all small items, do not let children handle batteries. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
PRECAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak. Remove the batteries if the thermometer will not be used for a long period of time.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Do not drop the unit. It is not shockproof.
  • Do not soak the unit in water
  • It is not waterproof.
  • Do not store the unit in direct sunlight or at a high temperature.
  • Do not place the unit near strong magnetic or high radiation which may affect the accuracy
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the unit except to replace the batteries.
  • Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix Alkaline, carbon zinc (standard), or nickel-cadmium (rechargeable) batteries.
  • Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.

One (1) Year Limited Warranty

Taylor® warrants this product to be free from defects in material or workmanship (excluding batteries) for one (1) year for the original purchaser from the date of retail purchase. It does not cover damages or wear resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, commercial use, or unauthorized adjustment and/or repair If service is required, do not return to the retailer Should this product require service (or replacement at our option), please pack the item carefully and return it prepaid, along with a store receipt showing the date of purchase and a note Explaining the reason for return to:
