Richmond RMTG70DVLN-3 Water Heaters
Product Information
The Richmond Water Heaters are available in both indoor and outdoor models.
They have a gas input rate ranging from 11,000 BTU/h to 199,900 BTU/h. The
water heaters have a uniform energy factor (UEF) of 0.82 and a maximum gallons
per minute (GPM) flow rate of 9.5. They are equipped with built-in LeakGuardTM
technology and meet the Ultra Low NOx requirements.
The water heaters have a heat exchanger made of copper and provide freeze
protection. They come with a warranty of 15 years for the heat exchanger, 5
years for parts, and 1 year for labor. The dimensions of the water heaters
vary depending on the model.
Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
- Choose the appropriate Richmond Water Heater model based on your needs.
- Ensure that you have the necessary clearances for installation (refer to the manual for specific clearances).
- If installing an indoor model, connect the water heater to a gas supply using a 3/4 NPT gas connection.
- If installing an outdoor model, ensure proper ventilation using UL-approved Category III Stainless Steel vent materials or water heater manufacturer-approved vent material.
- Mount the water heater using the included hanging bracket.
- Connect the hot water and cold water pipes to the water heater using 3/4 NPT connections.
- Connect the power supply to the water heater (120V 60Hz).
Usage:
- Set the desired temperature using the controls on the water heater or the included external remote.
- The water heater will start heating when there is a minimum activation flow of 0.4 GPM.
- For continuous hot water supply, ensure a minimum continuous flow of 0.26 GPM.
- If needed, the high-temperature upgrade is available (refer to the manual for instructions).
- Monitor the built-in digital display for temperature and other information.
Maintenance:
- Regularly check for any leaks or malfunctions.
- Keep the area around the water heater clear for easy access and servicing.
- Follow the recommended venting and clearance guidelines for safe operation.
- If any issues arise, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual or contact customer support.
