PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
- When setting up the product, ensure that it is stable and assemble it according to the instructions in the manual. We strongly recommend the use of work gloves during assembly.
- Do not attempt to assemble the product in windy or wet conditions. Do not touch overhead power cables with the aluminum profiles. Dispose of all plastic bags safety-keep them out of reach of small children. Do not lean against or push the product during assembling. Keep children away from the assembly area. Do not position the product in an area exposed to excessive wind.
- Do not attempt to assemble this product if you are tired, have taken drugs or alcohol or if you are prone to dizzy spells.
- If using a step ladder or power tools ensure that you follow the manufactures safety advice.
- Hot items such as recently used grills, blowtorches etc. must not be stored inside the product.
- Ensure there are no hidden pipes or cables in the ground before inserting the pegs. Remove PE-cover during winter (no snow load permitted) to avoid damage.
- Intended use of the machine
- Use as a garden bed with or without top and with the corresponding infill on a solid/stable and leveled surface.
ASSEMBLY
Always note visible transport damages on the delivery note and check the product immediately after unpacking for transport damage or missing or damaged parts. Report any damage to the product or miss-ing parts immediately to your retailer or freight forwarder
Required assembly aids/materials
Safety gloves, screwdriver, if necessary cordless screwdriver with appropriate
bit insert for assembling the screws, spirit level and one person as a helper,
optional rodent protection/mesh as a base.
NOTICE
To avoid damage (scratches) during assembly, please use suitable underlays on which to place the individual parts.
Assembly of side panels
Connect the side panels (P1, P3) with the screws/washers/nuts (F1) as shown
above.
NOTE: Always leave the upper two bore holes free.
Assembly of the edge protector
Affix the edge protector (J4) at the upper edge of the assembled side panels.

Assembly of rods
- Attach the struts (1) to the side panel assembled in step one. Make sure that the bore holes of the rod are aligned with the two upper bore holes of the side panels. Fix the strut (1) with two screws/washers/nuts (F1). Repeat the same procedure analogously for each strut (1).
- As illustrated above, insert the struts (2, 3, and 4) into the connectors (S1). Connect the curved struts (3) with a T-shaped connector (S2).
Now place the connections (S1, 2) onto the struts (1).
Assembly of protective foil
Apply the protective foil (PE) as illustrated above. Fix the PE-cover to the
strus (S1) with fixing straps.
NOTE : Remove PE-cover over winter (no snow load permitted) to avoid
damages.
OPERATION

Please choose a level and stable surface to place the garden bed on. Check the leveling with a spirit level and correct any deviations. Note: Depending on the surface, it is recommended to use a rodent protection (e.g. for installation on a earth ground) (not included in delivery). A second person is required for transport to the installation site due to the weight of the product. Please ensure the correct body posture when lifting, carrying and setting down the load.
Lifting/lowering
- Establish stability when lifting/lowering (legs hip-width apart).
- Lift/set down load with knees bent and back straight.
- Do not lift/set down load jerkily.
Carry
- Carry load with both hands as close to body as possible.
- Carry load with straight back.
Filling: In order to provide optimum conditions for your plants, a garden bed is created layer by layer in a specific sequence. This allows nutrients to be gradually released to the plants over a period of several years. The following is a proven sequence of layers:
- Bottom layer (layer 1): Solid wood such as branches, twigs, bark.
- Layer (2) Light organic waste such as leaves, cut grass
- Layer (3) Compost and/or manure
- Layer (4) High quality garden soil
Ventilation / access: The PE-cover can be opened from the side
CLEANING
NOTICE
The use of solvents, aggressive chemicals or abrasive cleaners leads to material damage to the product or can injure or kill the animals by feeding! Therefore: When cleaning, use only water and, if necessary, mild cleaning agents that are permitted for food use.

DISPOSAL
Observe the national waste disposal regulations. Never dispose of the machine,
machine components or equipment in residual waste. If necessary, contact your
local authorities for information on the disposal options available.
If you buy a new machine or an equivalent device from your specialist dealer,
he is obliged in certain countries to dispose of your old machine properly
