SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND PRECAUTIONS

WARNING

  • Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot;
  • Do not use the cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use only spare parts approved by the manufacturer;
  • Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords;
  • Do not use more than one mattress in the cot.
  • Travel cot is ready for use, only when the locking mechanisms are engaged. Check carefully that they are fully engaged before using the folding travel cot.
  • The lowest position of the base is the safest. When the child starts sit alone, is advised to use only this base level.
  • If you leave the child in the cot unattended, always check, if the side entrance is fastened with a zip.
  • All assembly elements and fittings should be tightened properly and checked regularly and retightened as necessary.
  • To prevent injury from falls, if the child is able to climb out of the cot, the cot shall no longer be used for that child.
  • WARNING — Only use the mattress sold with this cot, do not add a second mattress on this one, suffocation hazards.
PLAYPEN ­- WARNING:
  • Do not place the playpen close to an open fire or other heat source.

  • Do not use the playpen without the base.

  • Ensure that the playpen is fully erected and all the locking mechanisms engaged before placing your child in this playpen.

  • Maximum age of child for which the playpen is intended ­ 36 months.

  • The base should always be used in the lowest position as soon as the child is old enough to sit, kneel or to pull itself up.

  • Accessories which are not approved by the manufacturer shall not be used.

  • Do not leave anything in the playpen or place the playpen close to another product, which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords.

1. Installing the cot with mattress on the upper level (Fig. I)

Take the cot out of the bag. Pull up the short sides of the frame to unfold the cot (Fig. A). Place the plastic feet into the cot legs (fig. B). Connect the cot legs with the cot frame (fig. C), a characteristic click will indicate a correct assembly. Then attach the fabric clips to the foot clips (fig. D). Unfold the mattress by pulling on one side (fig. E), place the mattress on a clean surface so that the metal supports are visible. Assemble them and fix the joints with Velcro (fig. F). Place the mattress in the cot (fig. G). There are 6 Velcro strips on the bottom of the mattress. Put them through the bottom of the cot and fix them with the Velcro on the bottom side. Check that the zip is secured by the loop (fig. H) .

2. Mounting the cot with mattress on the lower level (fig. L)

Take the cot out of the bag. Pull up the short sides of the frame to unfold the cot (Fig. A). Place the plastic feet into the legs of the cot (Fig. B). Connect the cot legs to the cot frame (fig. C), a characteristic click will indicate a correct assembly. To extend the fabric at the bottom level, open the buckle (Fig. H) and pull the zip around the cot. Secure the buckles of the shorter straps with the leg supports (Fig. J). Roll up the longer crotch straps and hook them to the black elastic on the cot fabric. Unfold the mattress by pulling on one side (fig. E), place the mattress on a clean surface so that the metal supports are visible. Assemble them and fix the joints with Velcro (fig. F). Place the mattress in the cot (fig. G). There are 6 velcro strips on the bottom of the mattress. Put them through the bottom of the cot and fix them with the velcro on the bottom side. The cot has a side exit, undo the zip to open it (fig. K).

3. Folding the cot

Undo the Velcro fasteners at the bottom of the cot, take out the mattress. Undo the loops that connect the fabric to the legs (fig. M). Detach the legs from the cot frame (fig. N). There are buttons in the middle of the longer sides of the frame. Press them while folding the cot frame halfway (fig. O).

4. Cleaning

Clean the cot fabric and the mattress with water and mild soap. Never clean with abrasive detergents containing ammonia, bleach or alcohol. The cot should be thoroughly dried before use or storage.

Frame and legs – Clean the metal frame with a soft, clean, damp cloth and mild soap.

Warranty

  1. All Kinderkraft products are covered by a 24-month warranty. The warranty period starts from the date the product is handed over to the Buyer.

  2. The warranty is only valid in the member states of the European Union, excluding overseas territories (as currently defined, including in particular: Azores, Madeira, Canary Islands, French Overseas Departments, Åland Islands, Athos, Ceuta, Melilla, Helgoland, Büsingenam Hochrhein, Campioned’ Italiaand Livigno)and the territory of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland excluding the British Overseas Territories (e.g. Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands).

  3. The manufacturer’s warranty does not apply to countries not listed above. The conditions of the additional warranty may be determined by the Seller.

  4. In some countries, it is possible to extend the warranty to a limited period of 120 months (10 years).The complete terms and conditions and the warranty extension registration form are available at WWW.KINDERKRAFT.COM

  5. The warranty is valid only in the territory indicated in paragraph 2.

  6. Claims must be made by completing the form available at WWW.RMA.KINDERKRAFT.COM

  7. The warranty does not cover:
    A. Cosmetic damage, including but not limited to: scratches, dents and cracks in plastic, unless the failure is due to a material or manufacturing defect;
    B. Damage resulting from misuse or poor maintenance – including but not limited to: mechanical damage to products caused by misuse or poor maintenance;
    • Refer to the instructions for use and installation of the product contained in the user manual;
    C. Damage caused by improper assembly, installation or disassembly of products and/or accessories;
    • Refer to the instructions for use and installation of the product contained in the user manual;
    D. Damage caused by corrosion, mould or rust, resulting from improper maintenance, care and storage;
    E. Damage caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise resulting from the normal passage of time;
    • This includes: tears or punctures in inner tubes; tyre damage; tyre tread damage; fading of fabrics resulting from mechanical use (e.g. on joints and covering of moving parts);
    F. Damage or erosion caused by sun, perspiration, detergents, storage conditions or frequent washing, etc;
    G. Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, contact with liquid, earthquake or other external causes;
    H. Products that have been modified to change functionality without 4Kraft’s written consent;
    I. Products from which the serial number or lot number has been removed or tampered with in any way;
    J. Damage caused by the use of third party components or products – including but not limited to: cup holders, umbrellas, reflectors, bells;
    K. Damage caused by transport or by ground handling service providers.

  8. The warranty period for accessories included with the product is 6 months from the date
    of sale, excluding the faults described above.

  9. These warranty conditions are complementary to the Customer’s statutory rights with respect to 4KRAFT sp. z o.o. The warranty does not exclude, limit or suspend the Customer’s rights under warranty for defects in goods sold.
