What’s Included

1. Charging your camera

(1) Charge the camera for about 20 minutes via your PC or USB charger 5V/1A.
(2) Connect the supplied USB cable to the Micro USB port and a suitable USB port on your PC or a USB charger (separate charger not included). The camera must remain off during charging.
(3) While charging, the LEO lights up yellow and turns off completely when the camera is fully charged .

2. lnstalling the microSD

Caution! Format the microSD before use. Doing this, however. will ‘remove all data from the card. Make sure to back up any data before formatting.

(1) Only support a Class 10 microSD with at least 8GB capacity for recording.

(2) Do not connect or remove the microSD during operation, this will damage both card and camera.
(3) Do not force the microSD into the microS0 slot, this will damage both card and camera. It only goes in one way.
(4) Ensure that the microS0 clicks into place when inserting it. To remove the microSD, slightly pull it out from the slot.

3. Setting the date and time

Insert the microS0 card into the card reader and connect the card reader to your PC. After a lew seconds the microS0 card will be shown as a removable disk.

Open the SETTIME.TXT file.

The following menu will be displayed:

Modify date and time on the computer.

After setting date and time, click on “File” and then on “Save”.

Note: If you cannot find the file SETTIME.TXT after opening the microSD on the computer, please record a video clip to activate the card and set the date and lime again. The date and time will remain acc.urate unless the battery has been depleted for long time.

1. Turning the Camera On/Off

(1) Press and hold the to switch the camera on. The LED will light up blue, which indicates that it is in standby mode.
( 2) Press and hold the to switch the camera off. The LED will flash alternating red and blue and then turn off.

Note: If the camera switches off automatically, there are two reasons:
1. The battery power is too low and the camera must be charged.
2. The camera has been in standby mode without any operation for longer than 1 minute. In this case, the camera switches off to save battery power.

2. How to Record A Video or Take A Photo

(1) In standby mode, press and hold ► The LED will flash blue 3 times.
A 5-minute video clip will be recorded. Press ► again to stop recording, and the LED will stay blue.

(2) In standby mode, press ► lo take a photo. The LED will flash blue one time for 3 seconds.

Note: lf no microSD is inserted, the LED will flash blue for 10 seconds.

3. How to Record with Sound-activated Mode

In standby mode , press The LED will flash red 3 times and enter into 2-minute test recording. After that, sound detector will sense the environment per 2 minutes.
If triggered by any sound greater than 60dB, the LED will flash red 3 times, and begin to record video, 2minutes/clip. If not triggered, the red LED keeps on .

Press to stop recording back to standby mode.the LED will stay blue.

4. How to Switch Into Night Vision

Whether under manually recording or sound activated recording, when ambient light brightness Is lower than 10LUX, the camera will automatically switch into night vision and the video is black and white.

5. How to Play a Video Or Check a Photo

Connect the camera to computer, press and hold the for more than 3 seconds or take out the mlcroSD, Insert it into the card reader (included), then connect the card reader to computer.

Part 1: Before First Use

Charging the camera

Before the first use, charge the camera for about 20 minutes via your PC or USS charger (Power adapter should be no more than 5V/1 A).

Formatting the microSD

Before the first use, format the microSD to FAT32 format. The camera only supports class 10 microSD with at least an 8GB capacity. It supports cards up to 32 GB.

Resetting the camera

If the camera malfunctions for any reason, reset it with the included pin. A small paperclip can also be used .

Safety precautions

  • Read this instruction manual carefully before using the camera. It contains Important information for your safety as well as operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Follow all safety precautions in order to prevent damage due to improper use of the camera.
  • Keep this user manual carefully for future use. Should this camera be passed along to a third party, this user manual must be handed on as well.
  • Use the camera only for its intended purpose.
  • In the event of improper use or erroneous handling, no liability can be assumed for any possible damage which may occur.
  • Never try to repair the camera yourself. Only allow qualified personnel to repair the camera in the event of malfunctions.
  • Warning! Never immerse the camera in water or other liquids while cleaning or operating ii. Never hold the product under running water.
  • Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not introduce any metal objects into the interior of the housing.
  • Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Keep the camera away from all hot surfaces and naked flames. Protect the camera from extreme heat and cold, dust, direct sunlight, humidity and drops or jets of water.
  • Do not place any heavy objects on the camera.

The manufacturer is not responsible for any missing video data due to i;naloperation, microSD card malfunctions, camera angle limitation, etc .

The camera should be used for legal purpose only. Follow the laws of your country. . Recording and circulating an image of an individual may constitute an infringement of their privacy for which you could be liable. Ask for authorization before filming individuals, particularly if you want to keep your recordings and/or circulate images on the Internet or any other medium. Do not circulate a degrading image or one which could undermine the reputation or dignity of an individual.

Others Tips

1. How to Reset the Camera

Use the supplied pin or similar tool (like a paperclip) to reset your camera in case of a malfunction. Press and hold the Reset Button for several seconds to reset the camera to standard factory settings.

2. How to Mount the Camera

With the included camera clip and magnetic bracket, you can mount the camera on a desk, on the wall, and even as a pocket or body camera by hanging ii on your pocket.
