Product Information
The product is manufactured by Barkan Mounts Ltd. The company does not take responsibility for the installation. Please ask your installer for an installation warranty certificate. This warranty does not apply to the following:
- Damage caused by ignoring the safety and assembly instructions as well as the user manual.
- Coating defects.
- Normal wear and friction damages.
- Damage caused by installing other products hardware or items to the mount/shelf, not manufactured by Barkan or supplied by Barkan.
- Damage caused by modification or repairs not made by Barkan.
- Damage caused by accident or force majeure.
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or harm to the product.
- Mounting the product or installing the electrical appliance to the product.
- Breakage of the plastic covers or glass.
- Any damage caused to the electronic equipment or to the surrounding by the use of this product.
- Use of the product outdoors.
Product Usage Instructions
To ensure safe usage of the product, please follow these instructions:

Make sure to read and follow the safety and assembly instructions as well as the user manual provided by Barkan.

Do not install the product in a corridor or above a bed or chair.

Keep children and visitors away from the installation site.

If you are installing the product on a wall or ceiling or on
another product, perform a load test to ensure that:- The support is firmly fixed to the wall/ceiling.
- The electrical appliance is securely attached to the support/shelf.
- The screws, nuts, and straps (for CRT models) are not loose.

Do not use the product outdoors.

CAUTION! Ignoring the safety and assembly instructions may lead to the falling of the mount/ shelf and/or the electrical appliance. If you are not able to/ lack the experience to carry out wall or ceiling installation, contact us for further advice. If installed by an appropriate professional, please, make sure he/ she has the necessary experience in assembling mounts, has read and understood the safety and assembly instructions, works according to these instructions and takes responsibility for the installations.

Wall/ ceiling installation surface:
Installation of this product is only authorized on inner non-moving building walls and ceilings made of: concrete, standard 4“/ 10 cm or more concrete blocks, wood studs/ joists of minimum depth 4“/ 10 ( Standard 7 cm concrete blocks are suitable for the installation of fixed mounts or movement mounts carrying electrical appliances weighing a maximum of 55 lbs/ 25 kg ). Do not install on walls and ceilings made of: gypsum board, drywall, light processed blocks, silicate boards/ bricks, a damp wall, weak or very old blocks or wooden panel! -
Position and height of the installed product:
Install in such a place where collision with the product will not lead to Do not install in hallways or above beds or chairs. -

Tightening of bolts and screws:
Carefully tighten all bolts and nuts of 6 mm/ ¼ inch diameter or less, in order to avoid -
Installation strength check:
After installing the mount/ shelf to the wall or ceiling or to another product, perform a strength test of the weight load as indicated in the assembly instructions. -
Checking the electrical appliance attachment to the mount:
Following the installation of your home entertainment appliance, check that it is well connected, securely attached ( per instructions ) and can not slip off or disconnect. If unsure regarding the connection of the appliance to the mount, consult either the store of purchase or visit our website at www.barkanmounts.comand open the FAQ ( frequently asked questions ) page or contact us through the site -
Mounts with quick connect/ disconnect mechanism:
After connecting your home entertainment appliance to the mount, make sure it is well connected by pulling slightly on the When disconnecting the appliance Whilst holding the appliance firmly, remove the security bolt ( if one present ), press the disconnect mechanism and remove the appliance carefully according to the assembly instructions. -
Periodic maintenance checks:
One month after installation, please check that:- A. The mount is tight against the wall/ ceiling.
- B. The home entertainment appliance is well attached to the mount/ shelf.
- C. The nuts, bolts and belts ( CRT models ) have not loosened. Repeat the maintenance checks every six months following installation. If any faults are found, remove the home entertainment appliance from the mount and reassemble the mount as per the assembly instructions

Movement mounts:
Oil slightly all pivot points on installation ( except the pivot points inside the LED/ LCD/ Plasma tilt mechanism ) and afterwards once a year or whenever movement becomes To move the appliance, push or pull only the mount. When swiveling or tilting down the electric appliance itself, make sure to move the electric appliance carefully and gently.

repair or replace this product in our warehouse, free of charge, to the extent
that due to a manufacturing flaw or improper raw materials. If a claim is made
under this guarantee, the product should be returned prepaid freight, with the
original purchasing document to your dealer or to Barkan distributor.
This warranty does not apply to:
