Jabra Elite 5 earbuds come in a compact Qi-certified wireless charging case
for easy portability and a quick boost of power when you’re on the go. A USB-A
to USB-C cable lets you charge the case from your laptop or PC and different-
sized ear gels (S, M, L) ensure you can find your perfect fit.
What is the battery time on my Jabra Elite 5?
You can get up to 7 hours on a single charge while the Hybrid ANC is on, and a
total charge of up to 28 hours with the wireless charging case. The current
battery status of the earbuds and charging case is visible in the Jabra Sound+
app. Elite 5 also has a fast charge feature for a quick boost when the battery
is running low. Place your buds in the charging case for 10 minutes to get up
to 60 minutes of power. To fully charge the earbuds and the charging case
takes up to 3 hours

What’s Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation?
Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) provides a more powerful noise-
cancelling experience than regular ANC and doesn’t fully rely on your earbuds
being perfectly positioned. Microphones placed inside and outside your Elite 5
earbuds help to suppress noise at more frequencies, and with 5 adjustment
levels to choose from you can immerse yourself in your tunes or FaceTime with
friends, even if your surroundings are super loud.
What is HearThrough?
HearThrough lets users hear what’s going on around them without removing their
earbuds. The built-in microphones pick up sounds from their environment and
play them through the earbud speakers. Users can use HearThrough when
listening to music, and when there’s no speaker sound. The noise isolating fit
of Elite 5 means HearThrough is particularly beneficial outdoors, keeping
users aware of traffic sounds so they can commute safely. HearThrough levels
can be adjusted in the Sound+ app.
What’s mono mode?
Elite 5 earbuds give users maximum flexibility over how they listen to calls
and music. Users can choose to use both buds or switch to mono mode and use
either bud independently. ln mono mode the separate controls available on each
earbud remain exclusive to that specific earbud – so functions on the Left
earbud do not transfer to the Right when it’s being used in mono mode and vice
versa. Users can also switch to mono mode by removing one earbud and
continuing to use the other.
What’s the Jabra Sound+ app for?
Jabra Sound+ is the perfect companion app for your Jabra earbuds, with many
extra features that are only available through the app:

What’s Google Fast Pair?
Google Fast Pair enables instant pairing between new Android phones (6.0 or
higher) and your Elite 5, without having to fumble through your Bluetooth
settings. Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Fast Pair automatically detects
your earbuds in close proximity, giving you the option to then pair with a
simple tap.
What is Elite 5 compatible with?
Elite 5 earbuds are compatible with all Bluetooth audio enabled phones and
tablets, while the Jabra Sound+ App, Spotify Tap playback and Alexa Built-in
are available on iOS and Android devices* . Google Fast Pair and Google
Assistant are exclusive to Android (6.0 or higher). Microsoft Swift Pair works
with Windows devices (10.0 or higher)
Will the Alexa and Spotify Tap features for Elite 5 work with Apple iOS and
Android devices?
Both Alexa & Spotify Tap will work on Android and iOS smartphones thanks to
the integrated MFi (Made for iPhone) chip.
What audio codecs does Elite 5 support?
The Elite 5 earbuds support QualComm® aptX™, AAC and SBC audio codecs for high
quality, lower latency streaming from supported devices.
What is Bluetooth Multipoint?
Bluetooth Multipoint enables users to connect their earbuds to two devices
such as laptops and mobiles simultaneously, for fast and efficient switching
between them. If you’re streaming music or already on a call on one device and
a call comes through on the other, a ‘knock-knock’ notification to your
earbuds means you won’t miss out. Just pause the audio on your first device,
and resume play on the other.
What’s Microsoft Swift Pair?
Microsoft Swift Pair saves you time and effort by automatically connecting
Bluetooth devices to a Windows PC (10.0 or higher)4 so you don’t have to
search and pair it manually. The on-screen pop-up notify you when any
Bluetooth devices are nearby so you just need to make sure your earbuds are in
pairing mode then simply tap on the option to connect.

turned on in order to be used. Your PC may not have this automatically enabled
so you might need to check and turn it on manually beforehand.
