BRIO 34601 Builder Flashlight
Battery-powered features of the toy:
Brighten up your Builder play with this Flashlight. Fully compatible with Builder pieces, this handy flashlight can be attached to other Builder tools like the 34600 Builder Power Screwdriver or the 34602 Builder Chainsaw. It can also be integrated into open-ended ideas for imaginative and experimental play. With LED lamps in a wide range of colours, this toy flashlight shines brightly as you play. Simply press the button to turn on the light and then toggle between the colours. Light turns off when you‘ve toggled through all colours. You can also switch off the light by pressing/holding the button for approx 2 seconds.
Keep in mind that:
- The toy is not water-resistant and shall not be washed in a dishwasher as well as come into direct contact with water. Wipe off the toy with a clean dry cloth to remove any foreign materials.
- The toy is intended for indoor play only.
- The toy shall not be disassembled for safety reasons.
- The plastic in the toy can fade over time. Avoid strong sunlight and other heat sources.

Installing and replacing batteries:
The light effects for this toy are powered by 2 x 1,5V AAA batteries (not included). Use a screwdriver to open the battery cover (see illustration). Install the batteries as shown (+/–). Close the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Important
- Only adults should install and replace batteries.
- Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
- Only recommended batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended (1.5V) are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Always remove batteries if the toy is not to be used for some time.
- Protect the toy from water or dampness.
- Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries..
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Used batteries and electrical components must be disposed of at an approved collection point.
- Electrical components or batteries must not be thrown with household waste.
