Operation
- Apply solder: The soldering tip must be properly tinned before taking a reading. Apply solder to the center of the sensor wire.
- Read the temperature: Place the tip in the center of the sensor and wait until the temperature stabilizes to obtain an accurate reading.
Reading the Sleep Temperature
To read the sleep temperature, connect one end of the cable to the metal part of the tool stand and the other end to the cartridge. Follow the instructions mentioned in the Operation section (steps 1 & 2) to take the temperature reading.
Calibration
- Pull out the sensor and adjust the reading needle using a screwdriver at room temperature.
- Connect the TIA Thermometer to the pattern generator thermocouple Type E using the provided connections (+ and -).
- Choose the desired temperature on the generator and take a reading on the thermometer.
- Note down the deviation to correct future readings.
- Fit the STA sensor back in place.

Operation
For a correct temperature reading, you need to apply solder to the center of the sensor wire.
- Apply solder
