Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that the input voltage range is within the specified range of 80 ~ 264VAC or 113 ~ 370VDC.
2. Choose the appropriate model number and order number based on the desired DC voltage and rated current.
3. Connect the AC input using a compatible plug and cable. Refer to page 4~5 for more information on plug and cable types.
4. Connect the DC output plug according to the pin assignment. The standard plug is P1J with a center positive polarity. The DC plug can be changed through customization or by using a quick adapter accessory (sold separately).
5. Ensure that the working temperature is within the specified range of -30°C to +70°C.
6. Check the working humidity, which should be between 20% and 90% RH non-condensing.
7. Make sure to comply with the safety standards mentioned, including ANSI/ AAMI ES60601-1/ES60601-1-11(3.1 version) and CAN/CSA-C22 NO. 60601-1 3rd edition.

Description

GSM60U is a 60W ultra slim wall-mounted style single-output green medical adaptor series, which is
compact and convenient for carry. GSM60U is a class II power unit (no FG) equipped with the standard
2-Pin U.S. plug, accepting the input range from 80VAC to 264VAC. The whole series provides different
models with output voltages ranging between 5DC and 48VDC that it can satisfy the demands for various
types of medical electronic devices. The circuitry design meets the international medical standards (2*MOPP),
having an ultra low leakage current (<100 A), fitting the medical devices in direct electrical contact with
the patients.
With the efficiency up to 90% and the extremely low no-load power consumption below 0.15W, GSM6OU is
compliant with the latest U.S. energy regulation EISA 2007/Do(Level VI). The supreme feature allows
the adaptor to save the energy when it is under either the operating mode or the standby mode. The entire
series is approved for international safety regulations; moreover, it adopts the 94 V-0 flame retardant
plastic case that it can effectively prevent users from electric hazards.

NOTE

1. All parameters are specified at 230VAC input, rated load, 25°C 70% RH ambient.
2. DC voltage: The output voltage set at point measure by plug terminal & 50% load.
3. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz by using a 12″ twisted pair terminated with a 0.1f & 47f capacitor.
4. Tolerance: includes set up tolerance, line regulation, load regulation.
5. Line regulation is measured from low line to high line at rated load.
6. Load regulation is measured from 10% to 100% rated load.
7. Derating may be needed under low input voltage. Please check the derating curve for more details.
8. The power supply is considered as an independent unit, but the final equipment still need to re-confirm that the whole system complies with the EMC directives.
