Before the first Use
Read the operating instructions and the safety instructions carefully before
using the device for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions together with the device for future use . If
you pass on the device to a third party, this manual is part of the device and
must be supplied with the device .

Safety Notes
- Do not put this transmitter in an environment where flammable liquid is likely to come into contact with this product.
- Do not put this transmitter in an environment where stron electro magnetic field or dust is likely to come into contact with this product.
- Do not put this transmitter in moisture places where temperatures will change rapidly to avoid formation of condensate water.
- Do not insert metal parts into any lighting equipment.
- Dry your hands before handling the equipment as touching it with wet hands is dangerous to both, to the equipment and to you.
- Do not attempt repairs to your lighting equipment personally. If a problem arises, contact the store from which you have purchased the product or the Rollei Service Center.
- Do not fire the flash at very close distances to items or people / animals as the strobe releases intense heat and can cause damage and serious injury.

Installation
*Inserting batteries:**
- Open the battery compartment on the backside of the trigger by sliding.
- Insert 2 AA 1 .5 V batteries by taking care of the correct polarity of the battery (this is marked inside the battery compartment).
- Then close the compartment again.
*Not included in the scope of delivery.
Attaching to the camera:
- Before connecting the trigger to your camera make sure that both devices are turned off.
- Then slide the trigger into the hot shoe of your camera until you hear a click sound. This indicates that the trigger is inserted correctly.
- To remove the trigger from the camera push the safety interlock button and then slide it backwards .
Power on and off button
- To turn the trigger on press the Test / Power on and off button for about 2 seconds.
- To turn the device off press the Test / Power on and off button again for about 2 seconds.
Functions
15. Group selection:
To select the group, press the respective group button (A – F) briefly to
set the respective group.
16. Changing the exposure mode:
Briefly press the group button again to change the shooting mode: M/TTL/SLP
(sleep mode).
17. Power control:
Turn the control dial to adjust the power value.
M: 1 .0 to 9.0 / TTL: -8.5 to +5.0/SLP (sleep mode).
18. Turn modeling light on/off:
Briefly press the button [7] to turn the modeling light on or off .
19. Switching the buzzing on/off:
Long press the button [7] to turn the BUZZ function on or off .
20. Select channel:
Long press the multifunctional button [8] to set the channel (CH 0 – 31) and
select the respective channel by turning the multifunctional button [8].
21. Set function lock:
Long press the button [6] to lock or unlock the display.
22. Set flash synchronization:
Short press the buttton [6] to set the flash SYNC function ”1st/2nd shutter
curtain“ or ”HSS“.
23. Battery indicator icon
Menu settings:
- Long press the button 9 (OK / function menu FN) to enter the settings menu.
- Navigate through the function menu with the multifunctional button [8] and press the multifunctional button [8] briefly to call up the corresponding function.
- Then select the respective setting via the multifunctional button [8] and confirm it by briefly pressing it.
