Product Usage Instructions

Mounting Instructions

1. Unscrew the opal cover from the luminaire.
2. Select a mounting location where there are no pipes or electrical cables. Use the luminaire as a template to mark the mounting holes and drill them.
3. Disconnect the power supply.
4. Attach the luminaire to the mounting surface using the provided screws or fasteners.
5. Screw the opal cover back onto the luminaire.

System Requirements

To set up and control the lamp, it must be within the range of the network. The lamp requires a HOME by hornbach Gateway or any other ZigBee 3.0 compatible gateway.

Smart Home Integration

To integrate the lamp with a ZigBee 3.0 compatible gateway, refer to the gateway’s instruction manual for the pairing process.

System requirements
At least one of the following appliances is necessary: SMART HOME by hornbach gateway or other ZigBee 3.0 compati-ble gateway. For setup and control, the smart lamp must be in reach of your network.

Assembly

Caution: First disconnect the power supply for this connection.

1. Unscrew the opaque cover from the luminaire.

2. Select an installation location without pipes or cables behind it. Mark the fastening holes using the luminaire as a template, and drill the holes.

3. Route the power cable through the cable inlet.

4. Insert the plugs and fasten the luminaire with the screws.
   Caution: Make sure the fasten-ers are suitable for the ceiling material.

5. Connect the luminaire to the power supply (see figure). Make sure that the connections are tight and that no loose cable endings emerge from the terminal.
   N: Blue
   L: Brown

6. Screw the opaque cover back onto the luminaire.

7. Connect the power supply.

SMART HOME by hornbach inclusion

• Make sure, the installation site is within reach of your network.
• Tap on the + symbol in the right top corner and then on “device”.
• Choose your VIYU luminaire and set your gateway in pairing mode by tap-ping on the + in the top right corner. Power on the luminaire. The luminaire flashes once cold white, once warm white, and then continuously stays warm white until paired.
• In the devices overview you will find the new luminaire. You may re-name it now.

See instructions of your gateway.

Factory reset
Switch mains supply on and off quickly 5 times within short time (power-on time less than 2s each).

Maintenance and care
Wipe the luminaire with a soft, dry cloth only. Never use scouring powders or chemical cleaning agents. Never allow the electrical components to become damp.
