Product Information
The FARA 313 is a compact Micro-ATX tower chassis designed for tremendous storage drive compatibility. It is manufactured by SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd. For more information about the product, please visit www.silverstonetek.com.
Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the side panels of the chassis to access the internal components.
- Install the power supply unit (PSU) into the chassis.
- If the I/O shield is not integrated with the motherboard, install the motherboard I/O shield.
- Install the motherboard into the chassis.
- Install components onto the motherboard and connect all relevant cables. Make sure to connect the cables to the inner 42mm area of the motherboard.
- Install the graphics card into the appropriate slot on the motherboard.
- Install the 5.25-inch optical disk drive (ODD) into the chassis by removing the front panel, removing the bezel from the front panel, reattaching the front panel to the chassis, and installing the ODD.

Motherboard support : Motherboard standoff M3x6.5H-6-32.
Mounting for PSU, Graphics cards & 3.5” HDD SCREW-I-6-32×5-BK.
Mounting for motherboard & 5.25” ODD SCREW-PW-M3x5-BK.
Mounting for 2.5” SSD SCREW-PW-M3x4-BK.
Mounting for 2.5″ SSD at the front of the motherboard tray SCREW-PW-M3-8-BK.
Mounting for 3.5″ HDD in the 3rd slot of the drive cage SCREW-PW-6-32-8-BK.
Rubber washers for bottom panel 3.5″ HDD BASE-HDD-RUBBER-BK.
Cable ties.
Install standoffs.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Remove side panels.
Install PSU.
Install motherboard I/O
(if the I/O shield is integrated with the motherboard, please skip step 1).
Install motherboard.
Install components on to motherboard and connect all cables. .
The width of the motherboard is 244mm, connect all relevant cables to the
inner 42mm area.
Install graphics card.
Install 5.25” device
- Remove front panel.
- Remove 5.25” ODD bezel from the front panel.
- Secure front panel back on to chassis.
- Install 5.25” ODD device.
Install 3.5”, 2.5” devices at the front drive cage.
The space for installing the top 3.5” HDD and IO cabling will be very tight.
Please decide whether to install in this location.
The thickness of the top 3.5” HDD should not exceed 20mm.
Install 2.5” SSD on the motherboard tray.
Install 2.5” SSD or 3.5” HDD on the bottom chassis.
Install side panels.
OPTIONAL INSTALLATION
Connect front I/O cables.
COMPONENT RESTRICTIONS
Install fans.
Install radiators.
CPU cooler height limit is 155mm, cooler is allowed to protrude the edge of the motherboard by 8.7mm.
Graphics card limitations.
Graphics card length limit is 353.8mm, width limit is 155.8mm.
PSU depth limitation 160mm.

- Product component defects or damages resulted from defective production is covered under warranty. Defects or damages with the following conditions will be fixed or replaced under SilverStone Technology’s jurisdiction.
- Usage in accordance with instructions provided in the manual, with no misuse, overuse, or other inappropriate actions*.
- Damage not caused by natural disaster (thunder, fire, earthquake, flood, salt, wind, insect, animals, etc…)
- Product is not modified or components replaced resulting in out of spec. operation.
- Loss or damages resulted from conditions other than ones listed above are not covered under warranty.
- Under warranty, SilverStone Technology’s maximum liability is limited to the current market value for the product (depreciated value, excluding shipping, handling, and other fees). SilverStone Technology is not responsible for other damages or loss associated with the use of product.
- Under warranty, SilverStone Technology is obligated to repair or replace its defective products. Under no circumstances will SilverStone Technology be liable for damages in connection with the sale, purchase, or use including but not limited to loss of data, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of use of the product or incidental or consequential damage whether or not foreseeable and whether or not based on breach of warranty, contract or negligence, even if SilverStone Technology has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Warranty covers only the original purchaser through authorized SilverStone distributors and resellers and is not transferable to a second hand purchaser
- You must provide sales receipt or invoice with clear indication of purchase date to determine warranty eligibility.
- If a problem develops during the warranty period, please contact your retailer/reseller/SilverStone authorized distributors or SilverStone http://www.silverstonetek.com.
Please note that: (i) You must provide proof of original purchase of the product by a dated itemized receipt; (ii) You shall bear the cost of shipping (or otherwise transporting) the product to SilverStone authorized distributors. SilverStone authorized distributors will bear the cost of shipping (or otherwise transporting) the product back to you after completing the warranty service; (iii) Before you send the product, you must be issued a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number from SilverStone. SilverStone Technology in North America may repair or replace defective
product with refurbished product that is not new but has been functionally
tested. Replacement product will be warranted for remainder of the warranty
period or thirty days, whichever is longer. All power supplies should be sent
