APPLICATION

Filter ventilators are used to cool stationary locked switching cabinets of protection class I. This is performed via the direct supply of ambient air, the temperature of which must remain below the permissible interior temperature of the switching cabinet. The device is suitable for indoor use only.

Safety instructions

  • The installation may only by performed by qualified electricians in compliance with the nationally-applicable power supply guidelines (IEC 60364).
  • The protective measures in accordance with VDE 0100 must be ensured.
  • The device must be connected to the main supply via an all-pole separator (with a contact distance of min. 3 mm when deactivated).
  • The technical specifications on the type plate must be observed.
  • Caution: Strong soiling of the filter mat will impair the refrigeration.

Installation instructions

Installation is to be performed in accordance with the installation drawing. The ventilator is inserted in the pre-prepared installation cut-out and fixed with turning bolts. Ensure that the turning bolts lock in correctly so as to ensure secure purchase. Check that the ventilator frame fits on all sides after fitting. The operator is to ensure that the application is without leaks, as the type and material of the switching cabinet varies between applications. If required, the frame can also be fixed with the screws included in the scope of delivery. The turning bolts can be opened using a slotted screwdriver.
Function
The filter ventilator is supplied with a standard filter mat. We recommend the use of fine filter mats with dust with a grain size < 10 µm. The cooling function is only guaranteed using an exit filter (optionally with an axial ventilator)
Maintenance
Monitor the degree of soiling of the filter mat. If required, replace, blow out or beat the filter mat clean. To this end, the hood is
opened. This is secured via an engagement hook.
Accessories

  • Exit filter
  • Temperature regulator
