Continue loading equipment in a descending order of weight, so that the lighter equipment is installed in the upper sections of this product and the heavier items are on the bottom.

Assembly

To make the assembly easier to complete, consider assembling the RK12WALLOA with another person’s assistance.

Assemble the brackets
The RK12WALLOA features adjustable brackets that you can set to the depth that you require. The adjustment holes on the brackets are spaced 25 mm (1 in.) apart. The minimum depth you can set the brackets to is 305 mm (12 in.) and the maximum depth is 508 mm (20 in.).

1. Slide one of the rear horizontal brackets into one of the front horizontal brackets.
2. Determine the rack depth that you require and set the brackets to that depth.
3. Line up the adjustment holes on the front horizontal brackets with the adjustment holes on the rear horizontal bracket.
4. On each side of the horizontal brackets, complete the following:
   • Insert two bolts and washers through the adjustment holes on the front horizontal bracket and into the adjustment holes on the rear horizontal bracket.
   • Insert one bolt and washer through the adjustment hole on the bottom of the front horizontal bracket and into the adjustment hole on the rear horizontal bracket.
5. If you’re setting the brackets to the minimum depth of 305 mm (12 in.), repeat step 4 and insert an additional three bolts and washers at the corners of the brackets.
6. Repeat steps 1 to 5 to assemble the second set of brackets.
   

Attach the vertical rails

1. Place one of the vertical rails inside one of the bracket assemblies and line up the assembly holes.
2. At the front and side of the front horizontal bracket, use a Phillips type screwdriver to insert four of the assembly screws through the front horizontal bracket and into the vertical rail.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 to attach the other vertical rail to the bracket assemblies.

Attach the bracket assembly

1. Turn the other bracket assembly over and place the front horizontal bracket over the vertical rails.
2. At the front and side of the front horizontal bracket, use a Phillips-type screwdriver to insert two of the assembly screws through the front horizontal bracket and into the vertical rail.
3. Repeat step 2 to attach the bracket assembly to the other vertical rail.

Mount the RK12WALLOA on a wall

Warning! Remove all equipment from the wall-mount rack before you attempt to mount it on a wall.
Warning! Wall structures vary and it is important to make sure that the type of wall structure and mounting hardware that you are using will properly support the mounted equipment. Failure to do so might result in personal injury and/or equipment damage. The wall structure should be capable of supporting at least four times the weight of the mounted equipment.
The RK12WALLOA can hold up to 200 lb. (90 kg) in weight. Without any equipment added to it, the RK12WALLOA weighs 20 lb. (9.5 kg).
Warning! If you lack the necessary expertise to attach this product to the wall that you’re using, contact a construction professional to install the wall-mount rack or to provide specific mounting instructions for your wall structure.

1. Use the four wall-mount holes in both of the rear horizontal brackets as a template to mark the wall where you want to hang the wall-mount rack.
2. Follow the appropriate steps for the type of wall that you’re using and attach the wall-mount rack to the wall.

Install equipment

Warning! Do not add equipment to the wall-mount rack until it is securely attached to the wall.
Warning! When you load equipment into the wall-mount rack, load the heaviest equipment in the bottom section of the rack first. Continue loading equipment in descending order of weight, so that the lighter equipment is installed in the upper sections of the wall-mount rack and the heavier items are on the bottom.
This wall-mount rack comes with cage nuts and screws but the equipment you’re installing may come with mounting hardware. Consult the documentation that came with the equipment to determine the best mounting hardware that you should use and how you should install it.

1. Insert the M6 cage nuts in the vertical rails.
2. Line up the mounting holes on the equipment with the M6 cage nuts.
3. Insert the M6 screws through the mounting holes on the equipment and into the M6 cage nuts.
