FX-Luminaire FC-3LED-CW-BZ FC Well Light

Product Information

The product is an in-grade light available in designer/standard models. It is suitable for outdoor landscape lighting and comes in three variants: FC, RP, and KT. The light operates at a voltage range of 11-15 V and has a power rating of 12.5 watts. It is designed to be installed in the ground and requires a construction sleeve for proper installation. The product can be customized with different beam angle lenses and color filters.

Product Usage Instructions

To change the beam angle lens and color filter, remove the existing components and replace them with the desired ones (optional).
Dig a hole and insert the construction sleeve. Ensure proper drainage below the sleeve. Fill the hole with soil or concrete up to the top of the sleeve cover (if applicable).
Use a voltmeter to verify that the fixture is receiving a voltage of 11-15 V.
Connect the wiring using a waterproof connector.
Optional: Install tamper-resistant screws.
Replace the faceplate and tighten the screws.

Additional Instructions:

French: Pour modifier la lentille de l’angle du faisceau et le filtre de couleur, enlevez et remplacez les composants existants (en option). Installez des vis inviolables (facultatif). Remettez la platine de finition et serrez les vis.
German: Wechseln Sie die Abstrahlwinkel-Linse und den Farbfilter, indem Sie vorhandene Komponenten entfernen und austauschen (optional). Verbinden Sie die Kabel mit wasserdichten Kabelverbindern. Circuiting Guidelines:
For use with Luxor transformers:

Single transformer: Center the transformer on the wattage load and minimize cable runs to reduce voltage drop.
Multiple transformers: Spread the load evenly across all transformers and install them as close to the fixtures as possible to avoid voltage drop.

Low Voltage Cable Requirements:

For Luxor transformers: 12 AWG (2.0 mm) cable should be used for loads up to 160 W, and 10 AWG (2.6 mm) cable for loads up to 180 W.
For ES transformers: 12 AWG (2.0 mm) cable should be used for loads up to 120 W, and 10 AWG (2.6 mm) cable for loads up to 140 W.
For DE transformers: 12 AWG (2.0 mm) cable should be used for loads up to 100 W, and 10 AWG (2.6 mm) cable for loads up to 120 W.

INSTALL

Change beam angle lens and color filter by removing and replacing existing components (optional).
Dig hole and insert construction sleeve. Use drainage material below sleeve. Fill soil or concrete to top of sleeve cover (if applicable).
Use voltmeter to ensure 11-15 V at fixture.
Connect wiring with waterproof connector.
Install tamper-resistant screws (optional).
Replace faceplate and screws.

CIRCUITING GUIDELINES

TRANSFORMERS

Single transformer: When using one transformer, center the transformer on the wattage load. Minimize all cable runs to reduce voltage drop.
Multiple transformers: When using multiple transformers, spread the load evenly across all transformers. Avoid voltage drop by installing the transformers as close to the fixtures as possible.

WARNING – To reduce the risk of FIRE OR INJURY TO PERSON:

Turn off/unplug and allow to cool before replacing lamp.
Lamp gets HOT quickly. Contact only switch/plug when turning on.
Do not touch hot lens, guard, or enclosure.
Keep lamp away from materials that may burn.
Do not touch the lamp at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage lamp.
Do not operate the luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged shield.

WARNING – Risk of Electric Shock

Install all luminaires 10 feet (3.0 m) or more from a pool, spa, or fountain.
A luminaire shall not use tungsten halogen lamps unless the luminaire is marked for such lamps.
Supply connection and electrical components are located above ground level, except for secondary cord that is suitable for wet locations.

LOW VOLTAGE CABLE SHALL:

Be protected by routing in close proximity to the luminaire or fitting, or next to a building structure such as a house or deck.
Not be buried except for a maximum 6 feet (1.8 m) in order to connect to the main low voltage cable.
Have the length cut off so that it is connected to a connector within 6 feet (1.8 m) from a building structure, a luminaire, or fitting.
