Before the First Use

Before using the device for the first time, read the operating instructions and the safety instructions carefully. Keep the operating instructions together with the device for later use. If other people use this device, please make these instructions available to them. If you pass the device on to third parties, these instructions belong to the device and must be supplied with it.

Intended Use

This unit is designed for use as photo and video lighting only. It must not be used for other purposes and in particular not for domestic room lighting.

The following symbols are used in this manual, on the LED light, the power supply unit or on the packaging. Products marked with this symbol comply with all relevant community regulations of the European Economic Area. Products marked with this symbol are operated with direct current.

Operation

Press and hold the On/Off button [8] for three seconds to switch the unit on/off. – Press the Mode button [2] to select between the different modes. There are five different modes.
Mode 1: Select from seven different scenes, and press the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9] to switch between scenes.

  • Romantic light
  • Birthday candlelight
  • Pink ambience light
  • Forest light
  • Ocean blue light
  • Police light
  • Flashlight

After selecting, press the Select button [7] to adjust the brightness between 5 – 100% in 1% steps using the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9].
Mode 2: Seven RGB colors alternate at a slow interval. Change the interval speed with the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9]. After selection, press the Select button [7] to adjust the brightness with the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9] between 5 – 100% in 1% steps.
Mode 3: In this mode, you can adjust the intensity of the individual main colors red, green, and blue separately. The respective selected color is highlighted. To change the intensity, press the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9]. To move to the next color, press the Select button [7].

Mode 4
Use the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9] to choose between five preset colour temperatures for CCT light.

The following modes are available for selection:

  • Shade
  • Cloudy
  • Sun
  • Fluorescent
  • Incandescent

After selecting, press the Select button [7] to adjust the brightness between 5 – 100% in 1% steps using the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9].

Mode 5
Press the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9] to adjust the Kelvin degree in 100 K steps. Select your desired temperature from 3,000 K to 6,000 K.After selecting, press the Select button [7] to adjust the brightness  with the Plus / Minus buttons [3 / 9] between 5 – 100% in 1% steps. The LUMIS Glow RGB can also be used when connected to the power supply (Power supply via USB cable and a not included USB power adapter, output max. DC 5 V 3 A).

Note

  • Please use power supplies with a maximum output of DC 5 V 3 A to charge the LUMIS Glow RGB. The LUMIS Glow RGB supports charging via Quick Charger and Super Charger up to the above voltage.
  • Please use only the supplied USB cable for charging the device. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire or electric shock.

Operation with the Remote Control

You can also operate the Rollei LUMIS Glow RGB using the remote control included in the box content. You can switch between the five different modes via the Mode button [1]. The possible scenes and values can be set via the Plus / Minus buttons [2 / 3]. Via the button labeled „RGB“ [4] you can select the regulation of the brightness within the modes or select the color values in mode 3.
